Reiki meditation designed to ease anxiety and promote a restful night's sleep.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath.

Inhale positive energy and exhale any tension or anxiety.

Again inhale positive energy and exhale any tension or anxiety.

Allow yourself to fully arrive in this present moment.

Focus on your breath.

Inhale slowly for a count of four.

Hold for four and exhale for four.

Repeat this grounding breath letting each cycle bring you deeper into relaxation.

Exhale inhale exhale exhale.

Now visualize a warm this light is pure Reiki energy,

A source of healing and comfort.

Imagine it gently descending surrounding you in a cocoon of serene energy.

Feel the warmth on the top of your head as a white light focuses on your crown chakra.

The energy to flow in and releasing anxiety.

Guide the light to your bathing your third eye in its glow as it touches this area.

Envision a soothing release of tension and mental chatter creating a space for peace.

Move the light down to your throat or anxious thoughts melting away leaving a sense of calm and visualize it opening filling your chest with warmth and compassion.

Allow any anxiety in your heart to dissolve into a soothing light.

Guide the light to your solar plexus.

Feel it releasing knots of tension restoring a sense of confidence and inner strength.

Bring the light to your sacral area.

Sense it gently replacing them with tranquil energy.

Light descend to your root chakra stabilizing you.

Release any remaining anxiety.

Imagine feel its warmth burning blanket as it dissolves in this cocoon of healing.

Any residual anxiety.

Feel your entire being embraced by the Reiki energy.

Repeat to yourself.
