Hi,
This is Nicole and I will be your guide for this short gratitude meditation.
Come to a comfortable seated position.
Make sure there's no tension in your body by releasing and shaking out your legs or rolling out your shoulders.
Really feel grounded.
To help with this,
Let's take a deep breath in and sigh it out on our exhale.
Close your eyes.
Find a quiet space in your mind.
And focus on visualizing your favorite space.
Is it the beach,
Your backyard,
The mountains,
Staring up at the stars on a clear night?
Whatever it is,
Settle in there.
Breathe in the calm and peace of your special place.
Now visualize a person that you are grateful for or people.
Bring them into your favorite space.
These people can be living or non-living.
As you bring your person or people to your mind's eye,
Tell them how grateful you are to them.
Send them love and give them a big hug,
Thanking them for all the ways they impacted your life when you sit there in that love and that gratitude.
As you spend time with them,
It's time for them to start to leave.
But before they leave,
They take a mirror and reflect all the love and gratitude that you gave to them.
We tend to give so much and a lot of times forget to give thanks to ourselves.
You are an amazing person and I hope you see the beauty in all that you do.
Thank yourself for all you do.
I know it definitely isn't easy and you've made it.
I hope you can take this gratitude with you throughout your day,
Throughout your week.
Keep this feeling with you.
Take this time right now to tell yourself at least three things you are grateful for from yourself.
Feel the joy in your heart.
Take as much time as you need in your favorite space,
Basking in this gratitude,
In this joy and in this love.
As you come out of your meditation,
Be gentle with yourself,
Move slowly and start to breathe deeply when you are finished.
Thank you.
Namaste.
