Begin by finding a comfortable position.
Allow your body to settle.
Let your breath soften.
Let yourself arrive.
Pulley here in this moment.
Take a moment to ask yourself what you need.
Another pillow.
A blanket.
Covering for your eyes.
A complete reposition.
And whatever you need,
Respond,
Move,
Adjust.
Then when you are ready,
Take a slow,
Deep inhale.
And a long,
Slow exhale out.
Inhale again.
And exhale,
Sigh it out.
Allow your eyes to gently close.
And imagine that you are stepping into a quiet chamber.
A chamber between two rooms,
Two moments.
A liminal space.
That's meant to hold.
To be.
To just be.
Exactly as it is in this moment.
This meditation is a journey through the body.
Through the places that you are holding.
The places that you are hurting.
And the places where you feel the pull between who you have been and who you have become.
And who you are becoming.
This doesn't ask you to show up in any certain way.
And simply ask that you be here now and breathe.
Begin at the crown of your head.
Bring your awareness to the top of your head.
And notice if there's any pressure.
Tightness.
Any sensation.
Breathe into your crown.
Move your awareness down into your forehead.
The space between your eyebrows.
The gentle muscles around your eyes and your eyelids.
Here in the place where clarity and confusion often meet.
If there is any tension or holding,
Simply breathe into it.
There is nothing to choose in this moment.
Bring your awareness to the space behind your eyes.
The memories that are held,
The longing that is there.
The way that you hold the stories of all the things that you've seen.
If there is an ache.
Or a longing behind your eyes,
Simply breathe into it.
Allow the breath to soften.
Whatever is there without erasing it.
Bringing your attention down to the jaw.
This is the place where words have been held back.
Where truth has been braced against.
Where you have argued in silence.
Gently unclench your jaw.
Allow the breath to move into the hinge of the mouth.
And a reminder that you can speak your truth.
With clarity.
With grace,
With ease.
Whenever you are ready.
Bring your awareness to your throat.
The corridor between the mind and the heart.
The place where truth rises and sometimes gets stuck.
If you feel any tightness here,
Simply breathe into it.
Allow your inhale to widen the channel.
And your exhale to release the fear of being heard.
Bringing your attention down into the shoulders.
The place where you carry what is not yours.
And the place where you hold the weight of all realities at once.
Take a moment to feel both shoulders.
Bring your attention to the right.
And then the left.
And ask yourself.
Which one carries the past?
And which one carries the future.
Breathe in to both places.
And then as you exhale.
Release what is not yours to carry and know that you do not have to carry it alone.
Bring your awareness down into your chest.
Into your heart.
Your tenderness,
Your longing.
Your hope,
Your grief.
Notice if the heart feels pulled in one direction or another.
Notice any feelings or sensations.
Perhaps you notice a lack of feelings or sensations.
Simply notice.
Breathe into your heart space.
Moving your attention into the solar plexus.
The place in your ribs,
Your upper abdomen,
Your place of power,
Of truth.
The place where the body says,
I know.
Feel whatever you feel here in this space.
Breathe deeply into it.
Bring your awareness down into your belly.
Into your emotional center.
The true house of your intuition and your gut instinct.
Notice any feelings,
Anticipation,
Fear,
Uncertainty.
Butterflies,
Whatever it is,
Breathe into it and say,
I can feel this and not fall apart.
I can feel this and not lose myself.
Bring your attention down into your hips.
The hinge points between the past and the future.
The places that hold the old patterns and where the new paths begin.
Notice if one side feels heavier than the other.
Breathe into it.
Let your breath loosen the old storylines.
Bring your awareness to the thighs.
The place where you carry forward motion.
The place where you hesitate or brace.
Breathe into your thighs and as you inhale,
You say,
I can move.
And on your exhale,
I can rest.
Bringing your attention to the knees.
The place of surrender and humility.
A place where you bend to change.
If the knees feel tight,
Breathe into them and allow the breath.
To soften any resistance.
Bringing your attention down to the calves.
Where you hold urgency and fear of stepping forward.
Breathe into the calves and let the breath slow the pace.
Bring your awareness to your feet.
Your foundation,
Your roots.
The I see of your body.
The place where you stand between all timelines and all realities,
Between multiple versions of the self.
Notice if one foot feels heavier.
If one feels rooted in the past.
If one feels lighter as a stepping towards the future.
Breathe into both feet.
Allow your inhale together.
Around all the versions of you that is now and has been.
And allow your exhale to ground you fully in the present moment.
Take one final deep breath in.
And sigh it out.
Allowing yourself to be whole.
Inhaled in this moment exactly as you are.
When you are ready,
Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Allow yourself to come back.
Back to this reality and back to this moment.
But fully aligned and aware.
In tune with your body.
Blessed be.
