This is your August 2026 astrology forecast.
If you have been feeling the pressure to evolve,
To shed old skins,
To step into a new version of yourself,
But you can't quite name it yet,
You are not imagining it.
The sky of August is stirring something ancient within.
Most of us.
This month opens with four retrograde planets,
Pluto,
Neptune,
Saturn,
And Chiron,
Although Chiron not technically a planet.
All asking you to review,
Revisit,
And re-examine the stories that you've been living.
Uranus and Gemini forms a sextile with Neptune and Aries from August 1st through the 6th and this is cracking open intuitive insights.
Venus enters Libra on August 6th shifting the tone of relationship and harmony and then we have eclipses that arrive one on August 12th as we step into a new moon in Leo that is paired with a total solar eclipse at 20 degrees of Leo.
This is a moment of identity,
Courage,
And heart-centered truth.
Mercury in Leo forms a sextile with Venus in Libra that also forms a sextile with Uranus in Gemini and that is trying Neptune in Aries.
This creates a cascade of clarity,
Creativity,
And revelation.
Later in the month,
The Sun enters Virgo on August 22nd,
Followed by an exact Sun-Mercury conjunction on the 27th.
And then on August 28th,
We beat the full moon in Pisces under a partial lunar eclipse at four degrees.
This is a moment of emotional release,
Spiritual remembering.
And a deep inner softening.
The sun in Virgo squares Uranus in Gemini.

Jupiter and Leo is trying Saturn and Aries and the Moon forms a trine to Mars.
This is a sky full of tension,
Breakthrough,
Discipline,
And courage.
It is a month of thresholds,
Myth,
And becoming.
There is a moment when looking at this astrology there were so many aspects I wanted to cover and I wasn't sure which way to go about it.
So to understand this month what I felt like would be great is to look at an Egyptian myth that mirrors the sky so precisely it feels like the sky is telling this ancient story over again.
We need to look at this story far older than ourselves that is literally written into the bones of a creation myth.
The story begins with Ra,
The sun god.
Witnessing misalignment in the world.
And it continues with Sekhmet,
The lioness who was born from his right eye with a fierce,
Purifying,
Unstoppable power.
It then shifts when Thoth,
The god of wisdom,
The scribe and the magician,
Intervenes with wisdom and a magical elixir,
And it ends with Hathor,
A softened heart,
A restored harmony,
And emergence of pure joy.
This myth is an archetypal map that is held in the cosmos of August that mirrors the exact arc of your next becoming.
As I started looking at the astrology of August,
I began reflecting on my own journey.
Maybe it was the retrograde energy already at play asking me to revisit parts of my story.
My priestess path began in August of 2024 and a year later under an Aquarius full moon on August 9th,
I completed my training.
Pluto and Aquarius stripped away my blinders as I worked with Chiron's wife Curiclo who helps me release futures that weren't true,
While Pallas Athena showed up there and revealed the patterns beneath the chaos.
These same goddesses Curiclo and Pallas Athena show up again this August and I want to take you through some of their beautiful RG.
And at the same time that I had this vision come through of flying with my dragon and meeting Merlin at a drawbridge,
As I watched him plunge his staff into the earth and reveal the tree of life glowing inside that ball at the end of his staff.
As that occurred and he plunged it into the earth,
Golden lines began to light up beneath my feet as I watched it branch out over the globe and sacred sites began to awaken.
It was after that that I saw watchtowers and archangels and goddesses,
And I heard,
I have given you the gift to see.
It is your responsibility to share that gift with others.
I share this because somewhere along the way.
The myth that I was working with became very real.
And when myth becomes real,
It becomes a map.
And I hope,
My sincere hope for you is that within this work of August,
That map begins rising within you and within your sky.
This month unfolds in four movements.
I've decided to call them movements.
I thought about chapters or weeks because it's the four weeks of August,
But I'm going with the word movements.
And just like the myth of Ra,
Sekhmet,
Thoth,
And Hathor,
Each movement aligns with the exact astrology of the week.
Each movement guides you through your phase of becoming.
This is not a forecast,
But rather I think of it as a mythic initiation written in the sky that you are walking through.
So let's begin.
Movement one.
This month begins quietly with a hum beneath everything.
It is a subtle pressure,
A sense that something is shifting,
Even if you can't name it yet.
This is the feeling of the four retrograde planets pulling your awareness inward.
You have Pluto retrograde in Aquarius.
And that is revealing what's misaligned in your life.
Neptune retrograde in Aries begins to dissolve illusions.
Saturn,
Retrograde in Aries,
Is asking for restructuring of your foundations and chiron also retrograde in aries is reopening old wounds so they can heal cleanly It is a sky that asks you to pause,
To look again.
To see what you've been walking past or ignoring.
Where have you been?
Ignored some of that noise,
That like background noise that is shaping the rhythm of your everyday life.
And this is where the myth begins.
In the oldest Egyptian creation story,
The first movement begins when Ra,
The sun god,
Looks upon Egypt and sees something he cannot ignore.
People have turned away from him in forgetfulness.
They've drifted from truth,
Alignment,
And from their original pattern of being.
Roth feels this ache of misalignment.
He sees the distortion and the distraction.
And he's able to see the places where humanity has completely numbed out,
Like turned off.
This is exactly what the retrogrades are doing for you.
They're pulling you into a bird's eye view so that you have the same perspective that Ra held looking over Egypt.
But you get to have that perspective over your own life.
And you begin to see what's no longer aligned.
Where have I been spending time that is draining my energy?
Or what have I been tolerating that I've outgrown?
What have you been pretending not to notice?
This is the first initiation of the month.
The moment of seeing clearly.
From August 1st to 6th,
Uranus in Gemini is sextile Neptune in Aries.
This transit creates a cracking in the sky where sudden insight meets deep intuition.
This aspect is the cosmic equivalent of Ra opening his eyes and seeing for the first time.
It is that flash of clarity,
The intuitive hit.
The moment you realize that something you've been carrying is no longer yours.
It's the energy that says,
Look again.
Then,
On August 3rd,
Chiron stations a retrograde in Ares,
And his wife Curriculo is here to walk with you through this healing journey.
Aries represents the self.
So here,
Curriculo holds space as you heal yourself.
She is also an asteroid and her outer rings serve as a symbol of energetic boundaries.
She embodies the ability to transform with grace and she also serves as a non-judgmental witness for you during this time of clearing false futures.
She's the one who helps you release the stories you've been married to that aren't actually true.
Her medicine is subtle but powerful.
As she removes those projections to dissolve false timelines with almost a clearing of the plate sort of energy to help you detach from futures that were built on fear or habit.
Pallas Athena is also in Aries at 22 degrees and she is sextile Curiclo who is retrograde in Aquarius at 24 degrees.
And this is the moment where strategy meets sacred witnessing,
Where Pallas Athena helps with strategy.
She sharpens your insight and Kari Klo softens your heart.
Together they create a window where you see pattern and healing at the same time.
Think of it as a priestess strategist coming in to help you align and have the ability to act with clarity.
Without abandoning compassion.
This is a rare cooperation between a warrior and a healer.
And this is the month where you may suddenly understand why something must be released.
Not just simply that it's time to release something.
One practice from my own life that emerged last year when working with curriculum was every night before bed,
Before I would fall asleep,
I started saying a very simple mantra that I've kept up all this time and it has really evolved.
My dream life and helped move that forward into my waking life.
So I'm going to share that with you now.
So it's very simple.
The all I say is,
Before I fall asleep,
Allow me to see what I need to know.
And help me remember what I am shown.
That's it.
Then on August 6th,
Venus enters Libra.
This shifts the tone of relationships,
Balance,
And beauty.
Think of this as raw noticing,
Not just the misalignment in the world,
But the misalignment within the connections.
It is the moment where you begin to see where harmony has been forced.
Where your piece has been performative.
And where balance has been maintained at your own expense.
Think about that,

Venus and Libra ask for truth in relationships.
Over comfort.
Movement too.
Now that we have seen clearly,
We must respond and act on the insights that we have received.
It is here that Ra acts on what he has been witnessing with the people of Egypt.
He removes his right eye.
The right eye is that of fire,
Truth,
And the ability to see without illusion.
He places his right eye into his palm.
And he breathes life,
Divine power into it.
The I then becomes a living being,
A lioness.
A force of pure solar fire,
And a goddess made of truth so sharp that it burns.
This is Sekhmet.
Also known as the powerful one.
She is created from a desire for clarity.
An important thing to note is she is not created out of anger.
But she is the part of Ra who sees what is out of alignment and refuses to let that distortion and misalignment continue any further.
At the moment that Sekhmet takes her first breath,
The world changes.
She arrives with a knowing in her bones of what she came here to do.
She has a purpose,
A clear understanding of exactly why she was created.
And as she steps onto the earth.
She moves with a swiftness of surgical precision.
Like a blade cutting away the corruption,
The apathy,
The forgetfulness,
The numbness,
The patterns,
All the things that have drifted away from the cosmic order of Maat.
She brings the fire that restores the order.
Having been made from Ra's purest clarity.
There is no room for human softness.
She does not hesitate.
She does not pause.
She simply eliminates all distortion with fierce action.
And with that,
She tears through Egypt with a fire that is meant to clear away all deception and illusion.
When she steps onto the earth with this surgical clarity.
This is what we see in week two of the August astrology.
August 7th through 10th,
The cosmos kind of tightened their limbs.
If Movement 1 or Week 1 continues with that humming beneath the surface,
Now here in week two,
This insight begins to become direction.
That intuition becomes action and clarity becomes embodied truth.
I think of it as like turning up the volume.
This is where you begin acting on what has been revealed to you.
If you remember that Pallas Athena is still sextile and she brings the ability to make adjustments without collapsing into guilt or self-doubt.
This week is asking you,
What is it that you can't carry anymore?
And it's asking you to say things like,
That's not mine.
This sextile supports Sekhmet's purpose of cutting away what is false,
Restoring what is true,
And doing so with a precision.
Rather than chaos.
So you're not chaotically.
Throwing things away or like wielding this blade that's on fire.
You're doing it through very exact areas of your life.
On August 11th,
Mars in Gemini,
Squares,
Saturn in Pisces.
And this creates a friction that is actually a blessing because Mars wants movement and Saturn asks for structure.
So together,
They create almost a sacred stop.
It is a pause that prevents you from rushing into old patterns.
This is the day where your body.
Says no.
Before your mind does.
It's like your intuition rises up and stops or blocks an old pattern that your energy refuses to leak because the future version of you has stepped forward and they are refusing to repeat the past.
This square is the cosmic equivalent of a guide placing their hand on your shoulder.
And saying,
Not that way.
We don't do that anymore.
On August 12th at 1336,
A total solar eclipse in Leo at 20 degrees opens the second movement of the month with unmistakable symbolism.
As a lioness eclipses,
The sun casts a solar shadow to provide a reset on identity,
Courage,
And truth.
This eclipse is Sekhmet's breath made celestial and it reveals what must be cleared,
What cannot continue,
What has drifted too far from your center.
And what requires decisive,
Uncompromising honesty.
A solar eclipse in Leo is the cosmic equivalent of that blade of light cutting through the illusion.
It is the moment the sun disappears.
So you can see what you couldn't see in full daylight.
This eclipse is the fire that restores order to your life and way of being.
And it is paired with that new moon in Leo at the same degree that gives an ultimate reset point to forge a new beginning.
But this time in fire,
Not softness.
This New Moon asks,
What truth needs to be spoken?
What pattern is ready to be burned away.
What identity am I ready to reclaim?
And what part of me is ready to rise with lioness clarity.
This is not a new moon of manifestation,
But it is a new moon of purification.
So yes,
You are manifesting this new version of yourself,
But you are doing so by clearing out and purifying what is already there.
This is a new moon that truly clears the plate to wipe away the distortion and to align you with your original pattern.
This is truly Sekhmet's mood.
Movement three,
Or week three.
After the fire has done its work.
There comes a moment of reckoning.
We have acted,
Cleared,
And burned away what was false.
And now we ask,
At what cost?
And what comes next?
This is where Ra begins to feel the weight of what he has unleashed.
Sekhmet has done exactly what she was created to do.
She cut away corruption and the numbness and the distortion.
But that force of her devotion.
The purity of her fire.
Begins to stretch beyond what Ra intended.
As he looks upon Egypt,
He sees not only the cleansing,
But also the emptiness that follows through this level of destruction.
And he realizes that if he continues to allow Sekhmet,
To run free in Egypt.
As she is,
There will be nothing left to restore.
This is the moment where Ra understands that fire alone is not enough.
So he turns to Thoth.
And Thoth is the God of wisdom,
Of writing,
Of magic,
And of sacred measurement.
He is the one who knows how to hold truth and timing,
As well as clarity and mercy.
Sarah comes to him with a dilemma.
He says,
How do we honor the cleansing without destroying what could still be healed?
Right?
Because all of Egypt,
The whole point was to heal and have them turn back towards.
But now that we've destroyed so much,
What do we do?
How do we soften the fire that Sekhmet has without extinguishing it altogether?
And we do that a lot in our own lives.
We see this fire burning this rage,
And then we just pour water on it because we get scared of it,
Or we're not sure what to do,
Or we don't want it to take over everything.
And so how do you keep that fire going?
Without dumping the bucket of water on top and extinguishing it altogether.
And how do we protect Maat?
So Maat is like the sacred order,
The sacred balance.
So how do we protect that while also protecting life?
And Thoth listens,
And as he listens,
He begins to craft a solution.
So Thoth tells Ra that he will create an elixir.
He will do a sacred drink made of red dyed beer that resembles blood,
And he will infuse it with magic,
Intention,
And herbs.
And this elixir is designed to redirect Sekhmet,
Not to punish her,
Not to eliminate her,
But to redirect her.
It is medicine for movement.
And momentum.
But also a spell for softening,
A way to bring that lioness back from the edge without destroying her purpose.
And this is where the third movement of the month comes into our own lives,
That moment where wisdom enters the story and where we turn towards that part of ourselves and learn how to recalibrate after the fire.
So as Ra turns to Thoth,
The sky shifts from pure fire to thoughtful recalibration.
This is the moment where intensity meets reflection and where action meets integration.
So it is here that you may feel the urge to rethink what you've just changed.
The need to review conversations,
Decisions,
Boundaries.
The pull.
To sit with what's been cleared before rushing towards the next thing.
So you may also think of this as like a sacred pause and another moment of reflection or revision.
On August 15th,
Mercury in Leo forms an exact conjunction to Jupiter in Leo.
And it is here that Mercury,
The planet of the mind,
Acts as those voice and wisdom that begins to help you name what has happened in your life so that you can speak truth now into what has clearly been seen without any distortion no blinders no mask This is an excellent time for you to journal as you begin processing all that has been unfolding for you.
But I will also add another layer to this.
At the end of July 2026,
So the month that just passed,
Jupiter began a brand new 12-year cycle.
And with that cycle,
It has opened up the opportunity for you to step into your next cycle,
Your next becoming.
So as you reflect,
I invite you not just to reflect on the past month,
The past year,
But really the past 12 years.
Where did you begin the journey?
And where are you now?
Whatever journey that is for you,
Whatever path that is for you,
Where did it start and where is it now?
And as you craft new agreements,
New stories,
New ideas,
A new language around your life,
It is important to remember where you have been.
And to use that wisdom you have gained so that it can carry you through the next era of your becoming.
You're not burning all of that to the ground.
You are using what you have,
But you're burning away the parts of it that no longer serve the next version of you.
This is where you say,
This is what has changed since I started my journey to where I am now.
This is what I want to release,
And this is what I'm choosing to carry forward.
Mercury here is not about quick decisions,
But about sacred documentation.
And it's the same way that Thoth records the myth.
The way that you record your own life.
It really takes some time this month to Think about that.
Think about where you've been and where you're going and where you want to go over this next 12 years.
In Movement Four,
Week Four.
After the wisdom enters the story.
Something shifts.
The fire has done its work,
The elixir has been crafted,
And the momentum has been met with magic.
It is now that Thoth brings that red-dyed beer elixir to Sekhmet.
As she sleeps.
He places it by her bed.
And when she rises.
She's ravenous with hunger and she grabs the bowl and she begins to lap up the blood.
And thinks nothing of it.
But what she doesn't know is that this magical elixir carries within it the intentions of peace,
Of softness,
And of return.
She continues lapping it up all the way to completion.
And as she does,
The fire inside of her begins to settle.
Into a glowing ember.
As if in a flash,
She sees the full extent of the damage that she has done,
Of the destruction that she has caused.
And the lioness closes her eyes.
The heat in her bones begins to cool.
As she sleeps visions of all that has been play in her head.
And when she opens her eyes again,
She awakens,
Not as the destroyer,
But as the goddess of love.
Beauty,
Music,
Pleasure,
Fertility,
Joy.
And the restoration of harmony.
She awakes as Hathor.
Where Sekhmet cut away distortion,
Burning through illusion,
And restoring order through fire.
It is Hathor who fills that space with sweetness,
A truth that feels like warm honey.
And restores life through tenderness.
This is why we call Sekhmet the goddess of war and love.
She embodies both.
This is the fourth movement of the month and it is where your fire becomes devotion and your clarity turns to compassion as your boundaries no longer put up walls but they become invitations so that your healing can become pleasure.
This is your softening error.
It is like your return.
The sweet part of the story where you remember that life is not only about getting something right,
But it is also meant to be beautiful.
As Sekhmet drinks her elixir and softens into Hathor,
The sky shifts into an energy of integration,
Tenderness,
And emotional illumination.
The fire has done its work,
And now the cosmos turned towards healing,
Clarity,
And grace.
And we feel that shift on August 22nd as we move from Leo season into Virgo season.
If Leo's season was that fire that revealed the burning away of the false,
Virgo's season is that cooling,
Clarifying phase.
She is the Hawthor face.
It is where you begin to sort,
Organize,
And integrate everything that has happened.
Here,
Virgo asks,
What needs to be tended now that the clearing is complete?
What systems,
Rituals,
And practices support the life that I am actually living now?
How can I honor my body,
My time,
My energy with more precision and more sacred self-care?
This is like Hathor's practical side of devotion through daily choices,
Those small acts and grounded service.
On August 27th,
The Sun in Virgo forms an exact conjunction with Mercury in Virgo.
If you remember,
Mercury is the planet of the mind.
So this is where mind and light,
Light from the sun,
Become aligned.
Where thought and your purpose are fused as one.
And where clarity and communication begin moving together.
This conjunction supports naming what has changed,
Speaking from a place of grounded truth.
Making clear decisions that reflect your new reality.
Refining your plans,
Offerings,
And commitments with precision.
It is the cosmic equivalent of Hothor.
Picking up a pen,
Or Sekhmet,
The morning that she has become Hathor,
Picking up a pen,
And writing that next chapter.
From a new place.
So who she has been and who you have been is still really close.
It's not a distant memory.
It's not years or decades later.
It's in this exact moment where Sekhmet becomes Hathor and where you let go of the old version for the new.
Then on August 28th we have a full moon in Pisces at four degrees and that is accompanied by a partial lunar eclipse.
If that new moon in Leo and total solar eclipse were Sekhmet's moon.
That fire,
That purified,
Then this Pisces full moon is Hothors.
It is the water that soothes,
Heals,
And reveals.
A full moon in Pisces with an eclipse brings buried emotions to the surface.
And it dissolves that lingering grief,
Guilt,
Shame,
Whatever's there,
So that it can reveal where compassion is needed.
This can be compassion for yourself.
And for others.
It really opens a portal for spiritual insight,
Dreams,
And an intuitive knowing.
The partial lunar eclipse here adds an element of karmic release and emotional recalibration.
It is a subtle yet powerful turning point where those old emotional powers,
Those old emotional patterns gently get to retire.

You had the fire of segment.
And the wisdom of Thoth with the softness of Hathor is that eclipse of identity really merges to become an eclipse of emotion.
This Pisces Full Moon asks you,
What is ready to be forgiven?
Where can I offer myself mercy?

And here you have Hathor's blessings.
It is an emotional,
Spiritual,
And relational softening that follows a month of profound clarity and change.
You have now walked the four movements,
Or the four weeks,
Or all of August.
You have stood with Ra in the moment of seeing.
And you have felt Sekhmet's fire.
Rise in truth.
You have entered Thoth's chamber of wisdom and softened into Hathor's grace.
And now you stand at the threshold that only opens once the myth has been fully seen and fully lived.
Because this story was never just about gods and goddesses and it was never just about Egypt or the sky.
But it's been about you.
It was about the part of you that sees clearly,
That acts decisively,
The part of you that seeks wisdom.
And softens into joy.
Think of that architecture inside of you that mirrors that of the cosmos.
The way your inner world shifts with the movements of the planets,
And the way that you're becoming echoes those ancient stories,
The way your life is shaped by forces older than memory.
This month has asked you to do a lot.
To witness what is misaligned.
To burn away what is false.
To seek the wisdom that recalibrates.
And to soften into the truth that remains.
And now as the full moon in Pisces rises with its partial eclipse.
The sky completes the story.
From fire to wisdom.
Into softening,
And finally illumination.
You are not the same person who began this transmission.
You have shared and seen,
Acted and softened.
But at most you have become.
So as you step out of the month of August,
Think of this as truly stepping into the next threshold.
And carry this with you.
You are allowed to be all the things clear,
Powerful,
Wise,
And soft.
Because that myth was never outside of you.
It has been rising from within.
And the sky recognizes you and your lineage and your path.
