Grand Risings and welcome to your day.
This morning's meditation,
We will choose our timeline.
So just begin by closing your eyes and settling into your space,
Hearing the sounds around you and noticing your breath.
Take an exhale and release every ounce of breath from your body,
Pulling the low belly in toward your spine to completely empty out and allow your body to soften into your exhale.
Then start to bring in your inhale through your nose as you seal your lips all the way down into your belly.
Breathe it all the way up into your ribs and up into your collarbones and an exhale to let it go with a sigh.
Soften your jaw,
Relax your tongue and let the shoulders roll down your back away from your ears.
And now imagine your day unfolding in front of you on a path right now where you've come to a split.
Two pathways appear in front.
One path feels familiar.
It's rushed,
Anxious,
Tense and scattered.
This is a version of the day that you have lived before this.
Just noticing it without judgment.
Notice how it would feel to take that familiar path.
And looking towards the other path now.
This one feels different.
There's more space here.
Your breath flows easier.
It feels more grounded where you can move slower.
You're not rushed.
It feels intentional and even your body feels supported and steady.
Nothing dramatic has changed.
It's just you choosing which way you'll move.
Taking a moment to feel those differences of each path.
And now gently shifting your body so slightly towards this new path.
Turning away from the taking a deep breath in.
As you're exhaling,
The shoulders roll down your back,
Your spine lengthens,
The crown of your head grows taller and your breath deepens.
You are allowed to step into a different experience if you just allow yourself.
Feel your feet in the earth as you take one step and another and another towards this more aligned path.
Letting your body recognize this feeling of grounded ease and intention.
As you walk through this path today,
Knowing that this is the path you chose to slow down,
To be deliberate,
To be intentional,
And to hold each moment with deep reverence.
If you catch yourself throughout the day losing this remembrance,
Close your eyes for one moment and come back to this path.
It is always a choice.
Take one more deep breath in.
Lips are sealed.
Inhaling through your nose,
Belly fills,
Ribs are expanding as you breathe it all the way up into your collarbones.
And on your exhale,
Soften your jaw and sigh it out.
Let this breath be the anchor into yourself,
Into the version that is supportive today.
You can return to this feeling again and again throughout your day.
Have a beautiful day.
Keep your intention close.
I'll see you again soon.
