Welcome.

You have arrived at the center of the bridge.

We stand now at the threshold of the heart.

This is our ritual for the expanse of spirit,

A space designed to celebrate the threads that connect you to the heartbeat of the world.

The heart is the wide echoing sanctuary of your being.

It is the sacred space where your physical life meets the infinite.

Within you is a powerful rhythmic sun that knows how to pulse with beauty and tenderness.

This is the medicine of the heart,

The emerald bridge that carries us into the heights of the soul.

To open the heart is to practice the art of the great allowing.

It is a somatic yes to the vastness of your own capacity for joy.

Your tenderness is your greatest strength,

A vibrant emerald force that reaches out to touch the world.

When we tend to this center,

We find that our capacity to love is a well that never runs dry.

Visualize yourself standing now in the center of a vast emerald meadow.

The grass is soft beneath you,

And a gentle wind carries the scent of wildflowers.

Above you,

The sky is endless.

As you stand here,

You realize that your breath is part of this wind.

You are part of a great interconnected tapestry that is constantly inhaling and exhaling in harmony with the earth.

Today,

We are making room for the air,

Remembering that you are a sanctuary of grace.

Begin with a breath of expansion.

Exhale until you are empty.

Now,

Take a slow,

Eight-count inhale.

Feeling the breath,

Lift the sternum and widen the collarbones.

Imagine the lungs filling like two silken sails.

Breathing in 2,

3,

4,

5,

6,

7,

8.

Hold at the top for a moment,

Feeling the fullness of your own presence,

And then exhale slowly,

Letting the shoulders melt away from the ears.

Let's do that again.

Breathing in 2,

3,

4,

5,

6,

7,

8.

Now hold.

Bring both hands to the center of your chest,

Letting one palm rest over the other.

Feel the quiet,

Persistent thrum of the life force beneath your skin.

As you inhale,

Imagine the breath widening the space between your shoulder blades.

Breathe into the front,

The back,

And the sides of your heart.

Imagine your ribcage as a flexible vessel,

And today,

The doors are swinging wide.

Now,

Smoothly,

Exhale long and slow,

Releasing any heaviness from your heart.

Continue breathing like this for a few moments.

Now,

Gently reach your arms out to the sides,

Palms facing forward,

As if you are preparing to gather the horizon into your chest.

With every inhale,

Draw your hands slightly back to open the pectorals.

With every exhale,

Soften the sternum.

Imagine a soft,

Emerald light,

The color of ancient moss,

Expanding from your palms and filling your chest.

Continue breathing like this for a few moments.

Now,

Soften the space behind your eyes.

Feel the air as a physical touch against your skin,

A reminder that you are held by the atmosphere itself.

You are becoming more expansive.

Soften the hinge of your jaw and let the throat be open.

You are landing in the center of your own love.

This is the somatic truth of your connection.

You are the meadow.

You are the wind.

And you are home.

As you move back into your day,

Carry this sense of spaciousness with you.

May you treat your own heart with the gentleness of a soft breeze.

Thank you for practicing with me.

I look forward to our next ritual of return.
