Her approach is grounded in openness, compassion, and a reverence for each person’s unique spiritual experience. She is experienced in accompanying others through grief, joy, transformation, and the sacred threads woven through everyday life. Her own spiritual journey has moved through Catholicism, Buddhist practice, and broad interfaith study. She now lives as spiritually independent, finding nourishment in nature, art, movement, meditation, silence, science, and ritual. She brings this spaciousness and flexibility to every companioning relationship. To Wildbody Companioning, Kat offers her years as a nurse and her lived experience with chronic illness. She supports those living with shifting abilities, chronic conditions, or disconnection from their bodies, as well as those whose identities or histories have shaped how they inhabit themselves. In addition to offering companioning and meditations, Kat creates art, poetry, and written reflections as a way of making meaning. These insights appear in her substack Unfurl, where she explores themes like embodiment, transformation, and the inner journey through the lens of a nature-inspired spirituality. She holds a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies and a Master of Science in Nursing and is a certified Interfaith and Inter-Spiritual Director.
