In this guided meditation, I’ll lead you through a simple yet powerful practice using your senses to bring you into the present moment. Together, we’ll explore sound, touch, taste, and smell to deepen awareness, calm the nervous system, and connect with the world around us. Whether you’re looking to feel more grounded, reduce stress, or simply take a mindful pause, this meditation is here to support you. Take a deep breath, get comfortable, and let’s begin.

We're going to start by either closing our eyes or you can just lower your eyelids like this and find a spot to just let your eyes settle on and unfocus and take some breaths to begin.

So just some deep cleansing breaths.

We're going to do three of these.

And I invite you to start by noticing what you can hear both in your room or the space that you're in and outside any walls that might surround you.

All the sounds of daily life going on.

Now I invite you to notice what you can smell on the air.

Taking fuller or deeper breaths for those small scents that are lingering in the air that you normally don't notice.

Now noticing any tastes that are lingering on your tongue.

Noticing the places where your body touches the space around you.

Shifting a little you need to get more comfortable.

Noticing the support beneath you.

Noticing that it extends all the way to the earth itself.

Noticing the air around you,

Its temperature and its humidity or dryness.

Noticing as you breathe in the coolness of the air and as you breathe out the warmth of your body.

Warming it.

And turning inward,

Finding an area that feels like it's the center of your body.

Of who you are.

A place of stillness.

I just invite you to breathe into that area.

Invite you to just notice that stillness within.

Even if it's just a really small space.

Even just a tiny speck.

Just continue to breathe into it.

Resting in it.

Take as much time as you need.
