Deb Hanson Woodbrooke

Deb is a former midwife, infant feeding specialist, and lactation consultant who spent over two decades supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the early days of parenting. After 22 years working within the NHS, she now works independently with Dream Feeds Ltd, offering compassionate, evidence-based support to parents navigating the often complex reality of feeding and caring for a new baby. Deb understands that feeding journeys are rarely just about technique or numbers on a scale. They are about confidence, connection, nervous system regulation, and helping parents feel safe and supported in their own bodies and instincts. Deb offers gentle guidance specifically designed for new parents in the early postpartum period. Her sessions focus on calming the nervous system, reconnecting with the body, supporting the milk ejection reflex during expressing or feeding, and helping parents soften the pressure and anxiety that can arise when feeding feels difficult. Her meditations are particularly supportive for parents who are expressing milk, triple feeding, recovering from a challenging start to feeding, or feeling overwhelmed by the constant monitoring that can accompany early feeding journeys. Deb’s intention is to create a space where parents can pause, breathe, and remember that they are not alone. Through warmth, reassurance, and grounded guidance, she helps parents return to trust in their bodies, their babies, and themselves.
