Welcome to this spring nidra, graceful growth. The wood element of spring invites surges of growth, and we can excitedly envision a path of transformation, and achieving goals. Maybe we desire to ‘do better’ …but this can create a sense of lacking as if we are not enough. This Nidra is an invitation to go beyond that illusion of the mind space and remember that energy is moving through us, we are so much more than what we think, and by being present in our bodies can remember this natural state of grace and growth is within us at any moment.

And welcome to this spring Nidran,

Graceful growth.

This season of spring invites surges of growth and we can excitedly envision a path of transformation,

Improvement,

Or achieving goals.

Maybe we desire to do better,

But this can create a sense of lacking,

As if we're not enough.

That illusion,

The mind space,

Can let us forget that energy is moving through us in this moment,

That we are energetic bodies.

We are what the divine is.

You are enough.

This meditation is an invitation to surrender into your true nature and grace,

And experience this message of spirit that has always been there.

When we open to the musings of the aliveness inside our bodies,

We are led into a wondrous cosmic realm,

Where space and time no longer limit us,

And where a field of endless possibility can start to emerge and show us that we are gracefully growing in every moment.

There's nothing more to strive or achieve here,

So just now,

Let your body take you with you.

As you lay here,

Warm and safe,

Start to open your senses,

Sink deeply into your felt sense of being here,

You tasting this moment through sound and sensation.

Maybe there's more gentle movement to cozy in even further,

Get yourself really comfortable.

As you become more still,

Start to listen from the inside.

How does your body express as you begin to presence and arrive into this very moment?

Perhaps gravity is gently pouring through you to meet the earth.

The heaviness of your bones softly drag the rest of you with them,

And the earth is rising to meet you.

We are always arriving.

Your breath is flowing into the space.

You might deepen the first few as you awaken more awareness to what it feels like to breathe.

The branches of the lungs are breathing you,

Swelling the currents of your circulatory system,

The quality of the outside space that fills you as you breathe in,

And feel into that expression that you give back out into the space as you exhale.

This intrinsic dance of receiving and giving,

Of transition,

Just like the changes in the seasons.

Feel the slow thawing of solid thoughts and stories as you give into this subtle magic of movement playing out beneath your skin.

Is there a desire that runs deeper here than those surface layer projections that we think we need to achieve?

Is there a longing to connect to these inner hidden powers?

And perhaps an intention arises here,

If it bubbles up,

Give it space,

And maybe words or an impression forms.

And if it doesn't,

Our intention here is also to honor this process of grace and growth that is beyond our conditioned beliefs.

I honor this process of grace and growth.

Repeat this or your own intention to yourself,

Trusting your body and its own way of releasing and blossoming.

I will take you through a scan of your body.

Just let your attention wander with me.

You might sense or imagine a swelling of circulation and warmth as you journey to the different parts.

First,

Bring attention to your hands,

Warm and full.

Bring your attention to the thumbs,

The index fingers,

The middle fingers,

The ring fingers,

And the little fingers.

Feel the tips of the fingers pulsing.

Feel the space around the fingers.

And from your warm palms,

Start to connect all the threads of tissues up the forearms,

Elbows,

Upper arms,

Into the heart space.

Move your attention to the back of the throat,

Up into the brain tissue.

Feel it softening and widening into the cradle of the cranium.

Feel the breath moving through the nostrils,

Flowing through the nasal passages,

The eyes resting back into the muscles that cushion them.

The mouth is warm,

Your tongue widening,

Throat softening.

Feel into the bed of the lungs,

Supporting the heart.

Now,

Move your attention down into the abdomen and its organs that slide with the movement of your breath,

Deep into the pelvis.

Turning now down both legs,

Into the feet,

The soles of the feet,

The toes,

The big toes to the little toes.

All of them pulsing with your attention there.

Feel the whole body.

Let your attention listen evenly through the whole body.

The whole body rivering,

Thawing,

Circulating.

Open the gates of your awareness to this communication,

This intelligence and flow.

What is the experience of your body right now?

Beneath those layers of doing and expectation that invade our natural habitat of harmony and presence.

Go deeper and feel what is there for you.

How does your body express?

What does it grow toward?

Notice the places that can pour down.

And also there's parts that try to hold you up.

The parts that you push away.

And the parts that you won't let go.

Here you can imagine the grand journey that has led you here to this moment.

And also the path that is unfolding before you.

This is where we feel it all held in grounded and spacious awareness.

Feel it all and let it all be here.

To express,

To morph and journey through.

Being you just as you are.

This is enough.

This breath is enough.

Circulating around and within you.

These energetic impressions that you are experiencing,

That you are,

Are a wonder to behold.

Notice your skin gently softening around you.

Until you dissolve the shape.

Your muscles melting their need to act.

And your bones releasing into this experience of loving and tender space.

Feel the back of your body opening to the earth.

Feel the top layer of your body.

With light and energy.

That like rays shine outwards.

Perhaps beyond the skin or even your room.

Like a plant unfurls and opens itself to the sunlight.

Notice how your body unfolds and expresses with the same grace.

Recognize the fullness of you.

Here you can rest deeply.

In awe of that which is within.

You can stay as long as you like here.

Bathed in this light energy.

Taking what you need.

Be it more rest or gentle movement to awaken.
