This meditation is one that helps you let go of your vision of duality and move in to the idea that we are one,
One with nature,
One with the universe.
I'm Denise and I will help you and join you along this journey.
Let's first lie back.
Find yourself in a very comfortable position,
Softening and relaxing your body.
And move through your body,
Softening and relaxing as you find any spaces,
Any areas of tension,
Allowing your muscles to feel soft,
Moving deep into the body and softening the bones,
Visualizing space between all the joints,
Relaxing and allowing the body to feel heavy.
Imagine you are melting on to that surface beneath you.
Allow yourself to feel heavy and melt upon the surface beneath you.
Allow yourself to be held in this moment and continue to soften the body and imagine there is no difference between you and that surface beneath you,
That as you relax and you soften and you melt down on to that surface,
You start to spread out.
You start to melt on to that surface,
Becoming one.
Visualize yourself spreading out until there are no edges.
There is no distinction between you and the surface beneath you.
With your eyes closed and you focus on your breath,
It's easy to relax into this moment.
It's easy to imagine that you can melt on to the surface beneath you.
Visualize yourself spreading out,
Spreading out until you completely fill the room around you.
In this moment,
There is no distinction between you and the objects in the room.
Imagine that you continue to spread out,
Almost like a cloud dispersing in the sky.
Allow yourself to continue to spread out until you fill the building that you're in completely,
That you seeped into all the rooms and all the spaces,
All the cubbies.
You have spread out through the entire building and now envision yourself spreading out even more,
Spreading out into your community,
Spreading out into the world.
Imagine you are no longer your body.
You are no longer separate.
You are one,
One with nature.
Visualize yourself spreading out amongst the trees,
The grass,
The flowers,
The sky.
Imagine spreading across the entire earth.
Can you imagine going even further and becoming one with the universe,
Spreading out across the night sky,
Up into the stars,
All the way up until you are one with the divine.
Allow yourself to spread out.
Let go of all the edges,
Any boundaries,
Anything separating you.
Let all that drop away.
Allow yourself to feel free.
Let go of the heaviness,
The burdens that you carry and spread your wings.
And we'll begin to come back into our bodies knowing that you can open up and fill your connection with nature at any time.
Notice how quickly you were able to move into a state of freedom,
That you were able to tear down the barriers,
The boundaries,
The edges of your body and spread out across the world.
But for now,
We pull ourselves back together.
We move back into our bodies.
We come back to a place where we can sense the surface beneath us.
But let's decide as we come back into this body that we leave behind any heaviness,
That any of that pain,
The tension,
The illness,
Any disease that was not serving us,
We leave.
We come back to a body that is life,
Vital,
One that has reminded that they are not separate,
That they are part of the divine,
Part of the universe.
Bring yourself back.
And feel the body resting on the surface beneath you.
Notice the places pressing against that surface.
And now bring your awareness to the places that are not touching the surface.
The areas that feel light.
The areas that maybe you feel a brush of air moving across.
Bring your awareness back to the breath.
And let's take in a deep breath together.
And we sigh it out.
And we relax and we rejoice in this idea that we are one.
We are one with the universe.
And you may come back to this meditation at any time when you need to be reminded that you are not separate,
That you are one,
That we are all one.
Come back.
Remind yourself of your divine essence.
