Have you ever tried to do affirmations?
It's one of these things where unfortunately the separation of science and metaphysical come into play and some people put it into the category of that's crazy.
Manifesting is an interesting word for sure and it's something that I often think about.
Can we actually manifest?
What does that mean?
When it comes to the science of affirmations there is an understanding that our subconscious mind takes up 95% of the cause and effect of our thoughts,
Words,
And actions.
95%.
That's a big amount of why we do what we do and we're not even conscious of it.
We say things we don't think about.
We do things we don't think about.
And it makes me understand more that there is a realness to affirmations because what are we doing?
We're actually training our mind to believe what we say and then which causes our thoughts,
Words,
And actions to change.
So we're rewriting our thought patterns.
I'd like you today in this moment to get comfortable wherever you are,
Whatever you're doing,
And find that space of breath.
I'm breathing in.
I'm breathing out.
I'm just settling in.
Settling into you.
Because we are rewriting thought patterns,
We do positive affirmations.
And one of the simplest ones that is neutral is,
I am that I say I am.
I am that I say I am.
I am that I say I am.
How does that feel to you?
Are you saying it out loud?
Are you saying it in your head?
Do you need to pause the meditation and think about who and what is it that I say I am?
Whatever it is,
Knowing that you put limits on yourself and the world around you.
If you say,
I am limitless,
I am limitless potential,
Limitless possibilities,
Then it allows you the space to create more,
To be more,
To grow more,
To learn more.
I am that I say I am.
I want you to close your eyes now.
And I'm just going to do a mantra.
And I want you to feel into it.
Closing your eyes and just breathing.
I am that I am.
I am that I am.
I am that I am.
I am that I am.
I am limitless.
I am all that I say I am.
Feel into that.
Know it.
Who do you say you are?
If you do not know,
Take the time today.
Write it down.
Use your phone.
Go within.
Give yourself this time for you.
Don't let others write your story,
Write who you are.
Let you change your subconscious thoughts that then changes your thoughts,
Words,
And actions.
Be in power,
In control of you.
I am that I am.
I am that I am.
And just breathing into it.
I have this other little mantra that I say.
It's kind of a little poem,
A little rhyming technique.
And it goes like this.
For all that I have been and all that I will ever be,
I am me.
I am thee.
For all that I have ever been and for all that I will be,
I am me.
I am thee.
One more time.
For all that I have ever been and all that I will ever be,
I am me.
I am thee.
Take a deep breath in.
Letting go out.
Affirmations can be thought of both science and metaphysical.
Because we live in this duality of day and night,
Light and dark,
Physical and metaphysical.
We can think of affirmations as manifesting,
Or we can think about them as helping change our subconscious mind.
Whatever it is,
Let it be what speaks to you.
Write your affirmations of positivity.
Change the way you talk and think about yourself.
And watch how it affects you outward and inward.
Both matter.
You matter.
Thank you.
