Have you ever heard the phrase,
The time is now?
Or being told that your time is now?
The time is now.
Your time is now.
If you have been told that,
How did it make you feel?
Did it make you feel anxious?
Did it make you feel excited?
How did it make you feel?
This meditation,
I'd like you to think about time.
What does it mean to you when you think about it?
How does it make you feel?
It's important that we think about it because we're constantly living with time.
Time limits,
Needing to be somewhere at a certain time,
Having deadlines,
Having to go,
Go,
Go.
Time is one of these interesting things.
And I wonder,
If we didn't put so much pressure on ourselves,
How would it feel like to just know that the time is now no matter what,
Even if you're three minutes late?
That there is no late,
Really.
There just is.
So I'd like you to get into a comfortable position.
I just want you to think about it.
If I told you that your time is now,
What do you think about?
You can breathe in and out.
Just try to slow your heart rate down.
Try to slow down.
And I ask it again.
The time is now.
Your time is now.
What do you think about?
And how does it make you feel?
If you need to pause the recording,
Take the time to do so right now.
As there is no rush.
Because you are making the time now.
The time to think about time.
When you process what time you have in the day,
How you spend your time,
Wouldn't it be interesting if you just thought about maybe perhaps there's always enough time versus there's never enough time?
How much control do you think you really have of your day?
Because really,
There's so many unexpected variables that happen throughout our day.
Things we have no control over.
I'd like you to think about a time where you needed to be somewhere,
But other things happened.
And it changed the course of the time of your arrival.
And what was the cause and effect of that?
Did you run into someone?
Did you help someone?
Did something happen to you that made you slow down?
Time is one of these interesting things.
And when we can learn that perhaps the time is now always,
And there is no other time but the right now,
Perhaps we'd start becoming more at peace and putting less pressure on ourselves.
I'd like you to now just breathe again.
Just breathing in.
Long and slow,
For me,
Just helps.
It helps me to become grounded and centered and just less rush,
Rush,
Rush.
Just focusing on my breath just helps with me getting engaged in myself and being in the right here,
The right now.
I'd like you to spend five minutes,
Ten minutes,
Fifteen minutes a day,
Whatever you have,
To just think about the time is now and it's perfect.
Not late,
Not early,
Exactly right.
And I want you to think about what that feels like to be set free from the limitations that we put ourselves or others put on us.
It is that processing,
That perhaps the time is exactly right because you are making the time to be here.
You're making the time to just slow down and be.
The time is right because you say it's right.
Just keep breathing and being.
You have more power than you know.
You are more of the creator of your life than you know.
Give yourself credit.
Allow yourself to be.
Allow yourself grace.
In this world,
Of course,
We have things to do and places to be.
We have schedules to keep.
But instead of putting this pressure of if you are running late to just accept that you're late versus beating yourself up or beating someone else up or blaming someone else,
What if we just gave ourselves and others more grace?
Things will get done in the way that they get done.
And no matter what you do,
It is what it's going to be.
Early,
On time,
Late.
As you go along and spend the rest of your day,
I want you to think about that.
Our beliefs on time are very limited.
And what if the only time that really exists is the right now?
Thank you.
