Timing is Everything Talk In a world where time often feels like it rules everything, it’s essential to realize that all we truly have is the present moment. The past is unchangeable, and the future remains unknown. Regret and anxiety only pull us away from the here and now. Join me in this talk as we explore the concept of time and embrace the beauty of living fully in the present. Together, we’ll reflect on how there’s no such thing as “too early” or “too late.” You show up when you’re meant to, and from that moment onward, the ripple of events unfolds. Allow yourself to let go of regrets, release worries about what’s ahead, and simply be here—right now. Let’s rethink time as an opportunity to live in the present moment with grace and acceptance.

Time is one of these interesting things that we have.

And like anything else,

It's all about our perspective.

What we think about it,

How we think about it,

Being too early or too late or that was the wrong time.

And I want to give a talk today about time being everything and that we can't change things.

We know that.

And so what is the point of regret?

Because regret is a nuisance really,

Unless we're learning from it.

So I just want you to get into a comfortable position and just take some breaths with me or a big deep breath,

Whatever it is that works best for you,

Breathing in and out.

Just close your eyes,

Keep them closed and just listen.

In life,

We need to be present to every moment in order to fully be at peace.

Because if we're thinking about the past,

We live in anger with regret.

If we are thinking about the future,

We're in fear often of what is to come.

But if we can be in the present moment,

It gives us this pause,

This break,

This awareness of all I have is right now because that is ultimately all we have is the right now.

When we think about our lives and we can list the things that we may or may not regret,

Things of the past,

There is this knowing that there was a cause and effect to everything that happened.

That let's say you were running late somewhere and because you were running late,

All these other events happened in the way that they happened.

Well,

There's no point in regret that you were late because all these things happened.

Just as they did.

Whether you want to get into the whole thing of that was meant to be,

What I'm suggesting is if we can just get more in this place of understanding that they just did happen.

I'm not saying in a divine way and I'm not saying not in a divine way.

I'm just saying that as a fact,

Because you were late,

You met someone perhaps you wouldn't have met if you were five minutes earlier or whatever it is.

But as we are human and having this human experience,

This brain that we have and the hormones and chemicals in our bodies,

All that comes with being human,

We tend to remember the bad things and we're like,

Well,

If I would have been early or if I would have been on time,

Then that wouldn't have happened and that was bad.

But what about the good things?

We tend to forget the times that we were late or early and the good things happened.

The synchronicities,

The things that occurred from being late or early in your mind.

But what if it was just really on time?

Because all you have is the now,

The present moment.

In our minds,

We get caught up with rushing here,

Rushing there,

Being late.

And yes,

We do need schedules to keep,

Especially if we're running a business or the things in life appointments we need to have.

But if we put less pressure on ourselves,

Lighten our load in ways that we can by looking at our schedules,

Thinking about how is it that I can put less pressure on myself to be at a certain place at a certain time or to achieve all that I need to achieve in one day?

How can we go about doing that?

It's important to think about because there is only so much time in our day,

24 hours,

And we can only get so much done.

And so I'm here to help you think about timing being everything,

But ultimately that the only important time that matters is truly right here,

Right now.

Now,

Using the past as lessons,

Remembering is different than regretting.

Remember what the past has taught you,

But don't regret it.

For the future,

If it's causing you worry or anxiety or excitement,

Even,

It's also distracting you from where you are at the present moment,

Where you need to be ultimately and where you are.

And so you can have a moment of what ifs and all these uncertainties,

But no matter what the experience is,

Whether you label it good or bad,

If it's causing excitement or anxiety,

The truth is excitement can cause the anxiety as well.

Even that jitters of like,

Oh,

I can't wait,

Oh,

What's going to happen?

For us to just process that it's what it is.

And we cannot control it because we really can't even control the now besides if you're in your,

Maybe perhaps your house or apartment or whatever,

But I mean,

Even that factor of what's around you and what affects you,

We don't have control over many things.

And so it's understanding that we need to get over this idea of control and trying to make the future something versus planting a seed is what we say,

Like this idea of like,

You're allowed to have a vision for your future,

Of course,

Like something to strive towards.

And you make those steps every day,

Little by little,

One little step at a time.

And that can get you to where you need to be.

But knowing and being aware,

All I have is today,

All I have is right now,

Again,

Timing is everything.

So I want you to just think a little bit with me about what I just talked about,

Just for this brief little talk,

Just going in with yourself and just breathing in and out.

In and out.

And when you think about having regret,

When you think about being too early or too late,

Having anxiety for what the future may or may not bring you,

Remember,

Look around.

Connect with yourself,

Connect with your heart,

Beat,

And your breath.

Connect,

Connect to yourself,

Because this is what you have right now.

Slowing down,

Taking a moment in,

Thinking about how do you spend your time?

What do you do to make your life easier?

What do you do to help you not live in the past and not live in the future?

We have our heartbeat.

It's yours,

Your personal beat.

Feel it.

That's you.

Creating blood pumping through your body,

Your breath,

And giving yourself oxygen.

This is you.

Connect to yourself and give yourself this time every day.

No more regret,

No more anxiety.

Just now.

Timing is everything.

Thank you.
