Find a comfortable place to settle in.

You may wish to sit with your back supported or lay on the floor,

But really the most important thing is to be comfortable so you can tune into your body and just get out of your head just a few moments.

Begin by grounding your body to whatever surface you're on and just allow the feeling of the ground supporting you.

So if you're sitting,

Allow your feet to fully feel the floor.

Uncross your legs and just really feel the floor.

If you're laying down,

Allow your body to just sink into the ground.

Feel the ground and focus on the physical sensation with some soft relaxing breaths.

Breathe in and out and then create a rhythm for yourself and remind yourself that you feel safe and you're secure.

And just notice gently what comes up.

Just try to notice with curiosity.

Feel some compassion,

Some loving-kindness for what comes up.

And our intention today is to notice our old friend fear.

We're not gonna talk to fear because that's what fear likes.

Fear's demo is just to stay in our heads,

Keeps us safe by overthinking and procrastinating,

Keeps us small and it never lets us expand.

So our friend fear likes to protect us,

But really fear is is protecting us from living authentically,

From being our true self,

Because it's okay to not know what is coming ahead of me.

So let's tell fear silently,

It's okay.

I'm okay.

I'm safe and it's okay to let go of control.

It's okay to take the leap and to see what comes up because a safety net will appear even if we have no idea what it will look like.

So just sit with that.

Breathe into any tight areas of your body.

Do you feel any tightness in your chest,

Your stomach,

Maybe your shoulders or your neck?

Whatever you feel,

Just feel that fear and slowly breathe into it without any judgment.

Feel the fear and just don't think about what you feel.

Just feel it and try to see if you can let the fear dissolve like a cloud or a puff of smoke just disappearing.

Just let it go.

So now I'm going to share some mantras.

Feel free to repeat with me in your head or just settle in and allow yourself to listen to the sound of my voice.

It's safe for me to release control.

It's okay for me to trust in faith and in the unknown.

It's safe and okay for me to trust that life is working out for me.

I can allow life to guide me.

It's okay if I don't have it all figured out.

It's okay if my path looks different for me and others don't understand it.

It's okay for me to take care of myself by doing what I say that I'm going to do.

I no longer have the need to prove that I'm in control by self-sabotage or by comparison.

I have enough time to do what I need and what I want to do.

There is no magic timeline.

I'll get there when I get there.

I love staying aware and I love making time throughout my day to ask how I'm feeling.

I like to ask myself and check in throughout the day.

I remind myself I'm safe,

I'm secure,

I'm protected and I can allow my light to shine even if it's too bright for others.

I can move through this fear to serve and to make a difference in the world by just being me,

By just existing.

I'm okay and I will be okay.

I am peace,

I'm calm.

Just notice how you feel,

Take a deep breath in,

Hold it for a few seconds and then release it.

Remind yourself you can always come back to these mantras and repeat them.

Just allow yourself to take the focus off your fears if only for just a moment.

You are safe.
