So when you're ready,
Bringing your awareness to your breathing and not changing your breath in any way,
Allowing it to be exactly as it is,
Allowing yourself to be exactly as you are,
And resting,
And breathing,
And resting,
Waves of your breath,
And noticing when the mind is not with the breath,
Which will happen,
The mind will move,
Move into thought,
And we can notice that,
And always with so much care,
And gentleness,
And kindness,
And compassion,
Bringing the focus back,
Connecting back,
Coming home to ourselves,
And the now,
And meeting ourselves in this moment.
We're going to bring awareness to the body now,
And just scanning through the body,
And noticing the feelings,
Sensations there,
Feeling into the body as a field of moving energy,
And noticing any judgements now about the body,
Maybe about what the body looks like on the outside,
Or feels like on the inside,
Feeling like it should be different,
Should be better,
Wanted to change in some way,
And bringing our awareness to the mind,
Again noticing the quality of the mind in this moment,
Is it tired,
Or busy,
Stressed,
Anxious,
Or in between,
And again noticing any judgements,
So when we're judging the mind,
Or feeling it should be different,
Calmer,
Or more relaxed in some way,
Tuning into the heart,
The emotions,
And noticing what emotion is present,
We can even label that if that's helpful,
And again noticing any judgements about our emotions,
Feeling like they should be different,
Or pushing them away in some way,
And noticing whether we're judging ourselves now,
Our lives,
Maybe how we are in our relationships,
Finances,
Health,
Feeling like we're falling short in some way,
Or we're not enough in some way,
So just noticing where we're in this battle with ourselves,
Where we're judging ourselves,
Whether it be on the level of the mind,
The body,
The heart,
Or our lives,
And noticing the felt,
Bodily experience of turning on ourselves in this way,
What does it feel like inside,
When we judge ourselves,
When we turn on ourselves,
Teachings of Bapuji,
He says,
Each time we judge ourselves,
We break our own hearts,
So now putting one hand on our heart,
And one hand on our tummy,
If we feel comfortable,
We can ask ourselves the question,
When I no longer believe there's anything wrong,
When I no longer believe there's anything wrong with my body,
What it looks like on the outside,
And what it feels like on the inside,
How am I,
When I no longer believe there's anything wrong with my mind,
How am I,
When I no longer believe there's anything wrong with my emotions,
Who am I,
When I no longer believe there's anything wrong with my life,
Putting your hands on your heart,
And on your tummy,
And seeing,
Can we open up the space,
Even for the length of this meditation,
To just allow ourselves to be just as we are in this moment,
To open up the space,
To just let our bodies be,
To let go of the judgement of our bodies,
Even if it is just for the length of this meditation,
Can we open up the space to let our minds be,
To let our hearts be,
Our emotions be,
Our lives be,
Just allowing,
And feeling our hands fill up with care,
And kindness,
And compassion,
And feeling this care,
And kindness,
And compassion stream through our fingers,
Towards our bodies,
Towards our minds,
Towards our hearts,
Towards ourselves,
We can imagine breathing in compassion,
Breathing in care,
Breathing in kindness,
We can imagine our bodies surrounded by a healing balm of compassion,
We can imagine our bodies almost melting into this compassion,
And bringing more compassion,
More care to any part of the body that's hurting,
Or uncomfortable,
Or in pain,
We can imagine our minds surrounded in this golden healing balm of liquid compassion,
Imagining our minds melting into compassion,
Almost becoming compassion,
Again,
There's any parts of the mind that are in pain,
Or in discomfort,
Giving these parts more care,
Not less,
More compassion,
Not less,
More love,
Not less,
And imagine our hearts encased in this healing,
Golden,
Liquid balm of compassion,
Imagine our hearts melting into compassion,
Becoming compassion,
And feeling into the parts of our hearts that feel the worst,
Giving these parts more compassion,
More care,
More love,
Not less,
Breathing in compassion into our bodies,
So that every cell is filled with compassion,
So that we become compassion,
That we melt into compassion,
Breathing in compassion for us,
Breathing out compassion for others,
Breathing in care for us,
Breathing out care for others,
Breathing in love for us,
Breathing out love for others,
Resting in this sea of loving,
Compassionate awareness,
Reflecting on the words of Donna Foles that you are the love that you long for,
You are the love that you long for,
You are the love that you long for,
Noticing how you feel,
Bringing awareness to how you feel in body and mind and heart,
And also trusting and knowing that however way you feel is okay,
No wrong way to feel,
No wrong way to be,
And seeing maybe if we can give ourselves what it is that we need,
Maybe today or in the days ahead,
And when you're ready,
You can take your time,
You can open your eyes.
