My name is Corianne,
And this meditation is brought to you by Gypsy Jasmine Wellness.
Begin by finding a comfortable position,
Whether that's sitting or lying down.
You may choose to sit upright with your feet grounded,
Or lying down in a very relaxed position.
Gently closing down the eyes.
And taking a deep breath in.
Slowly exhaling,
Let it out.
Noticing the natural rhythm of your breath without forcing anything,
Just simply observing the natural rhythm,
The rise of your inhale,
And the fall of your exhale.
Feeling the air entering your nose,
Filling your lungs,
And then gently releasing.
Taking a moment now to bring awareness to your body,
Scanning from the top of your head down to the tips of your toes.
Just taking this little inventory,
Noticing any areas of tension,
And acknowledging them without any judgment.
Breathing into these spaces,
Allowing them to soften with each and every exhale.
Imagine a warm,
Soothing light.
This light starts at the crown of your head.
Slowly moves down,
Relaxing your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your jaw,
Melting away tension as it moves.
It flows down through your neck,
Releasing any tightness,
Down into the shoulders,
The arms,
And the fingertips.
This light now moves through your chest and heart space.
And with each inhale,
You invite in the feeling of calm.
With each exhale,
You release any worries,
Allowing this rhythm to wash over you like gentle waves,
Ebbing and flowing.
Visualizing a safe and peaceful place now.
Perhaps this is your favorite beach,
A forest path,
Or a warm sunlit room.
Feeling the sensations around you,
The cool breeze,
The warmth of the sun,
And the steady support of the earth beneath you.
You are safe here.
You are supported.
If thoughts arise,
Let them drift by like clouds in the sky.
No need to hold onto them.
Just watch them pass,
Returning your focus to your breath.
Silently repeating to yourself,
I am safe.
I am grounded.
I am at peace.
I am safe.
I am grounded.
I am at peace.
Taking a deep breath in.
Slowly exhaling.
And when you're ready,
Gently bringing your awareness back to this present moment.
Wiggling fingers and toes.
And when it feels right,
Softly opening your eyes.
Carrying the sense of calm with you throughout the rest of your day.
Namaste.
