Hello and welcome.
My name's Christian and I'm going to take you on a breathwork practice to help you relax,
Find balance and some inner peace.
So just take some time now to get comfortable.
You don't have to be cross-legged,
You can choose any seated posture that's going to work for you.
Just take a moment once you've found that seated posture to close the eyes or have a soft gaze.
Just take the chance like dropping a stone into still water to feel.
Don't add any additional thought or analysis.
Just let yourself land.
Whether you're on your mat or seated in a chair.
In a moment,
I'm going to invite you to join me in some Himalayan alternating nostril breath to help balance and calm you.
If you'd like to,
You can create mudras,
Index fingers and thumbs together,
Splitting the rest of the hand and just resting the hand somewhere on your lap.
You sit tall.
We're going to try and use our nose for the whole of this practice but if you need to crack the mouth at some point to help with it then that's okay.
With your lips gently touching if you're able.
I invite you now to exhale,
Empty the lungs as quickly as you can.
Using the nose,
Inhale the right arm up.
Take the whole inhale as you breathe into the belly,
Then the chest to fully inflate the lungs and bring the arm above you.
Than hold the inflated lungs.
Keep holding as you bring the right hand down,
Close off the right nostril.
Exhale through the left,
Emptying the lungs,
Drawing the tummy in.
Or DMT lungs.
Keep holding as you lower the right hand down.
Inhale the left arm up,
Drink the breath in through the nose,
Into your belly,
Then the chest,
Fully inflate the lungs,
Then hold the inflated lungs.
Keep holding as you bring the left hand down,
Close off the left nostril.
Exhale fully through the right.
Hold the empty lungs.
Keep holding as you lower the left hand down.
That's one round.
Inhale the right hand up,
Big inhales like a moving meditation.
Focus on the breath as you hold the inflated lungs.
Keep holding as you bring the right hand down,
Close off the right nostril.
Exhale through the left.
Hold the empty lungs.
Keep holding as you lower the right hand down.
Inhale the left arm up,
Big inhale.
And whole.
Keep holding as you bring the left hand down,
Close off the left nostril,
Exhale through the right.
Hold the empty lungs.
Keep holding as you lower the left hand down.
Inhale the right arm up.
Savour those breaths.
And whole.
Keep holding as you bring the right hand down,
Close off the right nostril,
Exhale through the left.
Or the antelope.
Keep holding as you lower the right hand down.
In how the left arm appears.
And whole.
Keep holding as you bring the left hand down,
Close off the left nostril,
Exhale through the right.
Hold the empty lamp.
Recording as you lower the left hand down.
And have the right arm up.
Begging House.
And whole.
Keep holding as you bring the right hand down,
Close off the right nostril,
Exhale through the left.
And whole.
Keep holding as you lower the right hand out.
Inhale the left arm up.
And whole.
Keep holding as you bring the left hand down.
Close off the left nostril.
Exhale through the right nostril.
Hold them too long.
Keep holding as you lower the left hand down.
Inhale the right arm up.
See if you can do this with your eyes closed now or a soft gaze as you hold the inflated lungs.
Keep holding as you bring the right hand down,
Close off the right nostril.
Exhale through the left.
Oh dear,
Empty lungs.
Keep holding as you lower the right hand down.
In how the left arm acts.
Bellies expanding,
Chest expanding as you hold the inflated line.
Keep holding as you bring the left hand down,
Close off the left nostril,
Exhale through the right.
And whole.
Keep holding as you lower the left hand down.
Inhale the right amount.
And whole.
Keep holding as you bring the right hand down,
Close off the right nostril,
Exhale through the left.
And hold the empty lungs.
Keep holding as you lower the right hand down.
And have the left arm up.
And whole.
Keep holding as you bring the left hand down,
Close off the left nostril,
Exhale through the right nostril.
And whole.
Keep holding as you lower the left hand down.
In how they write them.
And whole.
Keep holding as you bring the right hand down,
Close off the right nostril,
Exhale through the left.
And hold.
Keep holding as you let the right hand down.
In how the left arm operates.
And whole.
Keep holding as you bring the left hand down,
Close off the left nostril,
Exhale through the right nostril.
And whole.
Keep holding as you lower the left hand down.
In how the right armour performs.
And whole.
Keep holding as you bring the right hand down,
Drags off the right nostril,
Exhale through the left.
And hold.
Keep holding as you lower the right hand down.
Inhale the left arm up.
And whole.
Keep holding as you bring the left hand down,
Close off the left nostril.
Exhale through the right.
And hold.
Keep holding as you lower the left hand down.
Inhale the right arm up.
And whole.
Keep holding as you bring the right hand down,
Close off the right nostril,
Exhale through the left.
And whole.
Keep holding as you lower the right hand now.
Inhale the left arm up.
And whole.
Keep holding as you bring the left hand down,
Close off the left nostril,
Exhale through the right nostril.
And whole.
Keep holding as you lower the left hand down.
Last round.
Didn't have the right armour.
And whole.
Keep holding as you bring the right hand down,
Close off the right nostril.
Exhale through the left.
And hold.
Keep holding as you lower the right hand down.
Last slide.
Inhale the left arm up.
And whole.
Keep holding as you bring the left hand down,
Close off the left nostril,
Exhale through the right.
And hold.
Lower the left hand down.
When you're ready,
Take the biggest inhale you can manage and hold it.
Fully inflate those lungs.
Hold inflated lungs as you swallow.
Draw the chin into the spine and then squeeze your pelvic floor.
As you hold the pelvic floor and the breath and the chin drawn in,
Creating that energy lock,
Just relax your arms and shoulders.
Eyes closed or a soft gaze.
As you hold that breath,
Feel.
Imagine that breath.
Now infusing every part of your being with the energy and vitality that it holds.
Simultaneously.
It's taking from you anything that doesn't serve you,
May it remain in tiredness or tension or negativity.
That exchange will continue to the point you can hold no more.
And there's no rush.
For some of you that exchange will be quicker than for others.
And eventually you will reach a point where you can hold no more.
And when you do,
With an open mouth and a cathartic sigh,
Just let it all go.
And when you do eventually release,
And again there's no rush for those with a big breath hold.
Smile as the sweet return of your first breath returns to you.
Particularly if you've held to your limit.
That first breath will help instantly wash you with gratitude.
And simultaneously you'll feel peace and calm and balance spread.
We're out to you.
Even if it's fleeting.
Savoury.
And just feel as the gentle breath effortlessly rolls in and out.
Know that you can return to this practice at any time that you need to.
Modifying it as you need.
But still finding the balance and calm that you may seek.
I invite you to slowly flicker your eyes open.
The purity of heart.
The purity of speech.
And for purity of mind,
The light in me sees and salutes the light within you.
Namaste.
Please take your time and thank you so much for joining me and I look forward to seeing you again.
