Welcome,
Take a moment to pause and allow yourself to arrive fully in this moment.
Feel the support beneath you,
The ground,
The chair,
The mat,
Whatever you've chosen to lie or sit upon.
Just feel your body gently soften into it,
Knowing there's nothing you need to do right now that can't wait.
Just allow yourself to tune in to the feeling of gravity,
Let gravity work its magic,
Like mother nature's embrace wrapping around you.
Notice where your hands are resting,
Feel the weight of your limbs,
Tune in to the quiet around you,
Or even the subtle sounds of life continuing nearby.
Allow your face to soften,
Your forehead,
Your jaw,
Unclench your teeth and let your shoulders drop.
And now,
Without needing to change anything,
Just notice that you're breathing,
The breath moving in and moving out,
Softly,
Quietly,
Steadily,
There's no need for effort,
No need to breathe deeper than normal,
Just tune in to the rhythm that's already there,
The same one that's been supporting you quietly throughout the day.
And as you rest in this rhythm,
Let your awareness gently settle,
Focusing inward,
Like settling into a warm bath of stillness,
Hell,
Safe,
Present.
Just take a moment to reflect on your life.
What if everything you thought that was going wrong was actually going right?
What if that rejection was simply redirection?
What if the struggle was shaping you for something bigger?
What if the setback was part of a set up?
Maybe life isn't happening to you,
And maybe it's actually happening for you.
Just take a moment to let that land,
Let it soften your edges.
Remember you're not a victim of your circumstance,
You're a victim of your perspective,
And your perspective is born from your identity,
From the story you tell yourself about who you think you are.
Here's something to consider.
A clever man tries to change the world,
But a wise man tries to change himself.
It's tempting to fix everything out there,
But the real shift begins within.
So often we believe we need to change the world around us,
More money,
A different body,
More status,
But really we're just chasing a feeling,
A vibration we believe exists on the other side of those goals.
The irony being that feeling,
That vibration,
Already lives inside us.
You are already enough,
But remember you are what you think about.
Your thoughts shape your choices,
Your choices shape your habits,
And your habits become your life.
So today I invite you to become aware of what you're thinking,
Because when you control the mind,
You shape your destiny.
Control your mind,
Control your future.
It's easy to forget just how lucky we are.
Those who died yesterday had plans for today.
Those who passed away this morning had plans for tonight.
Nothing is promised.
Everything can change in a blink of an eye.
So learn to forgive more freely,
Love more boldly,
And stop waiting for the perfect moment,
Because this is it.
Don't rush.
Don't let your life become a race to nowhere.
Let go of the what-ifs,
The could-haves,
And the should-haves.
Just take a breath and exhale the weight of it all.
Be here.
Be now.
Feel your heartbeat,
Steady and strong.
Anchor yourself in your breath,
Soft and present,
Because in the end,
This is all we ever get.
Not yesterday,
Not tomorrow,
Just this one precious moment.
So breathe it in fully.
Savour it with gratitude and release any resistance to it.
Now gently bring your awareness back to your body.
Begin by wiggling your fingers,
And then your toes.
Let your head roll softly from side to side.
Maybe stretch,
Yawn,
Or smile.
Then join me in taking one deep breath in through the nose,
And with a long slow exhale through the mouth,
Just let it go.
Carry this sense of perspective and gratitude with you into the rest of your day,
Knowing that everything you need already lives within you.
Just take a moment now to thank yourself for making time for you,
For your mind,
For your heart,
For your inner peace.
Namaste.
Namaste.
