I invite you to get very comfortable in a nice seated position,

Comfortably straighten the spine,

Give your shoulders a nice roll back and allow your eyes to gently close.

Take a nice deep cleansing breath in through the nose and releasing it all with a sigh.

And just allow yourself to become very present in this moment,

Allow yourself to let go and give yourself permission to be fully present here now.

And we will begin by bringing our attention and our awareness to the habit or the thought pattern that you would like to interrupt.

This could be a critical voice in your head,

A tendency to procrastinate,

A feeling of anxiety that arises in certain situations.

Just allow whatever it is to gently come through into your mind's eye,

Bringing it into the present.

And as you do this,

I invite you to notice if you can sense this anywhere in your body.

Maybe there is a tightness in your chest and not in your stomach.

Maybe you sense your jaw clenching.

Just notice any sensations or any tightness in your body as you are contemplating this thought or pattern that you are desiring to interrupt.

And if you are not able to notice anything,

That is perfectly okay too.

The subconscious will be doing the work in the background for you,

So just have intention behind what we are doing.

And as you begin to locate this area within the body,

Without judgment or without thought,

I just invite you to breathe deeply into this area.

Really letting go of any resistance,

Just really breathing into it.

And as you continue to breathe into it,

Just allow whatever needs to surface to really,

Really surface.

You might have some more physical sensations,

You might have some thoughts,

Just let whatever needs to come through,

Come through.

And with the next exhale,

Silently repeat to yourself,

I am choosing to let this thought or this pattern go.

I am choosing consciously to interrupt this pattern of thought.

I am choosing to take my attention to a different direction when I have this thought.

I am choosing to let go.

This pattern no longer serves me.

And again,

Very gently take yourself back to the space in the body where you felt this initial pattern.

Just notice if there's any difference in the feelings or the sensation now,

Maybe it's the same,

Maybe it's less,

Just very gently observe it.

Again,

Breathing into the sensations that are arising and breathing in with intention.

And then once more,

Silently repeating the mantra,

I am choosing to interrupt this pattern.

I'm choosing to see this pattern differently.

I'm choosing to let go of this thought.

I am choosing strength and peace.

I am capable of creating positive change within.

And again,

Once more,

Take all your attention back to the space in the body where you first felt the sensation.

Again,

Observing without judgment,

Noticing the changes,

Noticing if anything is different,

Breathing into the space,

Allowing what needs to surface to surface.

And finally breathing in,

I am choosing to interrupt this pattern.

I am choosing to see it differently.

I am worthy of love.

I am worthy of wellbeing,

And I choose to move forward with a positive perspective.

Breathing all that in,

Breathing in this newfound energy that you have created within,

Just letting it all circulate throughout your entire being.

Beautiful.

You have done some empowering work to change the thought patterns and the energy field within.

You have created new space within your body.

That is wonderful,

Wonderful work.

So when you are ready,

Just gently open your eyes and just take a moment to bring some awareness back into your body.

Every time this pattern arises again for you,

Please,

I invite you to repeat this meditation over and over.

It's powerful,

Powerful work.

And with each interruption,

You will create space for more positive changes within.
