Seated or lying down.
Place your hands gently over your heart.
Take a slow breath in and exhale softly.
Again,
Inhale and exhale.
Allow your shoulders,
Jaw and chest to soften.
Feel the gentle support beneath you.
You are safe.
You are held.
Bring awareness to your heart space.
Imagine if you can,
A soft green light glowing there.
Warm and steady.
With each inhale,
The light grows brighter.
With each exhale,
It expands.
In a moment,
We will simply rest in this energy.
Allow yourself to receive it.
No need to do anything.
Take one more slow breath in and exhale.
Now bring awareness back to your breath.
Notice the rise and fall of your chest.
Feel the green light in your heart.
Warm and steady.
Place both hands over your heart if that feels comfortable.
With your eyes still closed,
Silently say,
Thank you.
Take a slow breath in and a soft exhale out.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
And when you are ready,
Softly open your eyes.
Carry this with you.
Your heart is open.
Your heart is enough.
