You Well,
Hello there.
Welcome to Celestio Gems.
I'm Jem.
And I'll be your guide for this morning practice,
Inspired by Scorpio season.
Whenever you're ready,
Find a comfortable spot.
Either laying down or sitting with your back straight.
You can wiggle about.
To get out any excess energy.
Or loosen up.
Any tensions?
When you're feeling good in the position you're in.
I invite you to close your eyes or soften your gaze on a spot in the room.
That's preferably in front of you.
Keeping your gaze low-ish.
Take a deep breath in.
Hold for a moment.
At the top if you can,
Hold for a moment if you can at the top.
And then exhale whenever it feels good to you.
If your eyes are closed.
Begin to.
Settle into the darkness,
Allowing it to wash over you.
There's nothing here to do.
No tasks for you to finish.
The only thing you need to do right now is to stop.
And rest in the stillness.
Scorpio season.
Isn't particularly interested.
In the superficial.
It's a season of big feelings and depth.
These things can become uncomfortable.
And one life.
Is already demanding.
Those feelings can become exhausting.
So this morning,
We're going to practice something simple,
Making a little room between what we feel and what we do next.
Let's take another gentle breath in through the nose.
Hold when you reach the end of that breath.
And then when you're ready.
.
.
Exhale.
Take another breath in through the nose witnessing now how that breath of air moves through your body and then softly exhale.
Let's just check in with your buddy.
No actions required here.
Just simply noticing any tensions or discomfort.
You're observing.
No need to change anything.
If you can.
I invite you now to notice how your body lays or sits against the floor.
The points of contact.
Where you rest on the surface.
Maybe you notice whether the surface beneath you feels firm or soft.
And whether you can sense any textures against your skin.
Notice how your head is supported,
If supported at all.
Bring your attention now to your forehead and eyebrows.
Can you observe any tensions here?
If it feels comfortable.
Allow your brows to soften.
Now bring your attention to your jaw.
Is it clenched?
Resting comfortably.
Think about your tongue too.
Noticing where it rests.
And if comfortable to do so.
See if you can drop it from the roof of your mouth.
Moving down to your shoulders,
Notice whether they're raised,
Relaxed or somewhere in between.
If it feels comfortable to you.
Let them settle away from your ears.
Shifting your attention a little further down now,
Let's observe your chest.
Noticing whether there's any movement as you breathe.
Without needing to change or deepen the breath.
Moving down.
See if you can observe your arms.
Your hands.
Are they gripping?
Or resting loosely.
Now bring your awareness to your belly.
Maybe you can notice the way your stomach rises and falls with each breath.
Moving below the belly now.
See if you can bring your awareness to your pelvis.
Noticing the base of your spine.
The top of your hips.
Observing any sensations here,
Whether there's tension.
Pressure.
Walked,
Or very little at all.
Allow your attention now to move down to your thighs.
Noticing the bath.
The front.
And the sides.
Shift your attention now to your knees.
And calves.
Noticing any tightness or other sensations without needing to change them.
If you can,
Move your focus towards your ankles.
Your heels.
The tops of your feet.
The soles of your feet.
And your toes.
As you breathe,
Gently see if you can widen your awareness to your whole body.
Focusing now on your whole body.
Observing your whole body as one connected experience,
From head to toe.
Maybe you've noticed that some parts of your body feel a little different now.
Or maybe they feel the same.
Simply notice whatever is true for you.
From this awareness of your whole body.
Gently turn your attention towards your inner experience.
Are any feelings present this morning?
You don't need to search for them.
And they don't need to be intense or negative.
Simply notice what's here,
If anything at all.
There's nothing for you to force,
Nothing for you to push.
You're simply witnessing the inner happenings of your body.
See if you can meet whatever you notice without judging the feeling or yourself for having it.
This is a space to feel your feelings.
If a feeling is present,
Can you find a word for it?
Perhaps it's anger?
Sadness?
Excitement.
Disappointment.
Joy.
Or love.
Maybe it's something else entirely.
And if you can't name it,
That is also okay.
Just simply acknowledge whatever word feels most connected.
If you can.
Try and recognize this.
Without judgment.
If it feels comfortable to you,
Perhaps you can begin to notice whether you sense this feeling anywhere in your body.
Perhaps you can notice this in your chest.
Or a flutter in your stomach.
Or perhaps maybe you don't notice any physical sensations at all.
There's no right or wrong here.
You don't have to fix anything.
Nothing needs to be acted on.
We're just moving through the body.
Locating if we can.
If present.
As though your body is a map.
And each feeling.
Is a landmark or island.
You can simply notice where those little landmarks appear without needing to label or explain them.
Your feelings are valid and welcomed here.
You might like to recognize them,
Knowing that they don't have to be in the driver's seat of your life.
They can offer you information.
But you don't have to let every feeling decide what you do next.
A gentle way of doing this is saying to yourself,
I notice I feel loved.
I notice.
I feel angry.
If it is helpful,
Try using those words with a feeling of your own.
I notice that I'm feeling.
.
.
See if you can recognize that the feeling is something you're experiencing.
Rather.
Than something you have to act on immediately.
We are not trying to change the feelings.
We're not resisting.
Or turning them into anything they aren't meant to be.
Or simply noticing.
And allowing it to be here.
As it is.
You might like to ask yourself,
As though you are a friend,
Offering support to yourself.
What do you need right now?
Perhaps you need a little more time,
A little space,
A glass of water,
Some rest or support from someone you trust.
Or perhaps you don't know what you need just yet.
And that's okay too.
Let's take three gentle breaths at whatever pace feels comfortable.
There's nothing you need to force or release.
Simply notice the breath as it comes in and as it leaves.
First breath in.
.
.
Whenever you're ready,
Exhale.
Another breath in and out.
Holding,
If you like.
And then exhale.
Final breath in,
Maybe you like to make this breath a little deeper.
And then exhale.
If you have time and feel like reflecting a little further.
You might like to journal about your experience today.
I'll also place the suggested journal prompts in the description if you'd like to explore a little further.
Ask yourself.
What am I feeling this morning?
What might I need today?
What's one thing I can do instead of reacting straight away?
Thank you so much for joining me today.
I am so grateful you were able to stop by.
I hope this practice has allowed you to feel your feelings a little more deeper.
Whilst creating.
A certain distance between them.
Not to disconnect or disassociate.
But to give yourself a moment before reacting straight away.
Until we meet again.
Goodbye,
My celestial friends.
