Welcome to the spiritual and somatic healing meditation with movement.
Removing energetic blockages and clearing the lower chakras.
Begin by sitting in a comfortable,
Easy position.
Close your eyes.
Take a moment to find your breath.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Notice it.
Follow it.
Do not judge or change the breath.
Accept it.
Give the breath gratitude.
Thankful for the one breath within and without connecting us all.
Now bring your awareness to your heart space.
And imagine a light emanating from your heart space.
What color is the light?
How bright is the light?
Take a moment to notice and feel into the light.
Now let's get ready to bring an intention forward.
You may choose to begin with a phrase like,
Today I am releasing fear,
Judgment,
Pain,
Trauma,
Shame,
Dis-ease in the body,
Negative thought patterns,
Attachments,
Stuck energy,
Energetic blockages.
Take a moment to choose an intention and settle it in your heart space.
Repeat your intention silently three times.
Now move your awareness to your root chakra at the base of your spine.
Feel into the base of your spine.
Notice any sensations or tension here.
Make small adjustments to your body to bring in a sense of security,
Stability and balance at your root.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Next,
Bring the soles of your feet together in a butterfly pose.
And move your awareness to your hips.
What do you sense here?
Do you feel tight or open?
Do your hips feel balanced?
If it feels good,
Hold onto your toes and begin to flutter the knees.
Start slow and open to a bigger range of motion if it feels right.
Opening and releasing tension.
Breathe and release into the movement.
Release your hands and feet and return to a comfortable,
Easy seated position.
Now,
Bring your awareness up to your sacral chakra,
Just below your navel.
What do you sense here?
Take a moment to notice without judgment.
Follow your breath and notice where it meets your sacral chakra.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Next,
Place your hands on your knees.
Hinge forward and begin to rotate your torso in slow,
Clockwise circles.
A churning movement stemming from your waist through your side body,
Front body,
And back body.
Make your circle as big or small as you like.
You may choose to pair your breath with the movement.
As you inhale forward,
Open through the chest and lift your chin.
As you exhale,
Push back,
Round your spine,
Chin to chest.
Reverse,
Rotating counterclockwise.
Release and come back to center.
And bring your awareness up to your solar plexus,
Located above your navel.
You will be taking 30 forceful and quick exhales through your nose,
Bringing the navel in with each exhale,
Pulsing the belly button.
Your body will naturally take care of your inhales.
Bring your awareness to the navel and solar plexus area with each exhale.
Begin.
Release and return to your natural breath.
Back to the one breath within,
Without connecting us all.
Finally,
Shift your awareness back up to your heart space and retrieve your intention from the beginning of the meditation.
Repeat it out loud or silently to yourself three times with conviction.
Today,
I am releasing.
Feel the last of the energy release through your heart space.
You feel lighter,
Clearer,
More balanced.
Sense your chakras spinning.
See them filling with light and feel life force energy moving freely.
Feel love and warmth within your heart.
You are a magnificent being,
Capable of great things,
And you are loved.
Take a few moments after this practice today to journal and reflect.
Repeat this meditation weekly to bring awareness into the body and continue slow and gentle energetic release for spiritual and somatic healing.
