I would like to take a moment to remind you that meditation is a personal practice,
So please take whatever I say and make it your own.
Please feel free to alter this practice to suit your own needs and comfort.
Today I would like to introduce some affirmations about inner peace and compassion.
Please find a comfortable position.
Close your eyes if that feels okay.
Focus on your breath.
Just notice however it is.
Now,
Please accept the following as truths for you.
Peace is within me.
I am in control of my life.
I am balanced and at peace.
I am resilient.
I trust myself.
I am peaceful,
Centered,
And grounded.
I thrive with peace,
Clarity,
And security.
I can honor my complexity.
I release worry and I choose trust.
I appreciate who I am.
I am capable of moving beyond my own mistakes.
I practice compassion and understanding.
I am forgiving,
Loving,
Gentle,
And kind to everyone.
I hold space for others to share their truth.
I am big enough to validate myself and others' perspectives.
I am proud of who I am becoming.
I accept the person I am.
Now,
Return your focus to your breath.
Gently begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.
If your eyes are closed,
You may begin to open them now and slowly return to the space around you.
