Hello and welcome to this guided meditation practice.
My name is Caitlin.
I would like to take a moment to remind you that meditation is a personal practice,
So please take whatever I say and make it your own.
Please feel free to alter this practice to suit your own needs and comfort.
Today I would like to introduce to you some affirmations about compassion and empathy.
Please find a comfortable position.
Close your eyes if that feels okay.
Focus on your breath.
Just notice however it is.
Now please accept the following as truths for you.
I am forgiving,
Loving,
Gentle,
And kind to everyone.
My kindness is for me.
I practice understanding and compassion.
My self-talk is an opportunity for kindness and a way I support myself.
I am filled with positivity and I vibrate that hope all around.
I am expansive enough to hold space for myself and others.
I am capable of moving beyond my own mistakes and seeing beyond the mistakes of others.
Now return your focus to your breath.
Now gently begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.
If your eyes are closed,
You may begin to open them now and slowly return to the space around you.
