Welcome to this Yoga Nidra session.

Choosing a position that's comfortable for you.

Lying down,

Maybe with a pillow under your legs,

Maybe with a blanket over you.

Just get comfortable.

Check for any lumps or clothing or jewelry or anything else that might distract you.

If you find something,

Then just push pause so you can get more comfortable and ready for this session.

Let's take a couple of breaths in,

In through the mouth,

And slowly out through the mouth.

This time in through the nose.

Notice that just two breaths can relax you.

I invite you just to breathe these slow,

Deep breaths,

To relax yourself more and more throughout.

Scan your body,

Making sure that you're as comfortable as you can be,

As comfortable as you want to be,

Scanning from your feet,

Up your legs,

Your hips,

Your back,

Front of the body,

Your arms,

Your shoulders,

Your head lying on the ground,

Checking and making sure that you are indeed comfortable and relaxed.

Setting aside anything that has happened before this moment.

Setting aside anything that's happening after this practice.

In this practice,

You have nothing to prove,

Nothing to do.

Bring your awareness into this practice.

Setting everything aside for these moments of rejuvenation.

In keeping with your deep breaths in,

And your slow exhales,

You know you are letting go of all tension from your body.

Now let go of any thoughts,

Or any need to do.

Breathe,

And just be.

This is your time for yourself,

Nothing to accomplish,

Just enjoying peace and quiet in your mind,

In your body,

In your soul.

You're beginning to experience the stillness even more now.

Know that you can move,

But if it feels good,

Just allow yourself to enjoy the stillness of being.

Enjoy this chance to do nothing except resting just like you are,

And allow my words to be received energetically rather than mentally.

Even the mind can rest.

In this place,

There is effortless awareness.

Feel all the experiences becoming more and more effortless.

Effortless relaxation.

Now I will mention a series of energetic points,

And you can just let your awareness float,

To flow freely from point to point,

Like you're connecting the dots on a children's puzzle.

It's your energy and the currents of your energy that are connecting the dots.

Start with the awareness at the point between your eyebrows.

Experiencing energetically rather than physically the point between your eyebrows,

And now the point on the crown of your head.

Moving down your back of your head to the top of your neck,

Bringing the awareness to the back of the top of your neck.

Moving around your throat,

Up to your mouth,

The awareness on your mouth and nose.

Just observing them breathing in and out.

Now the awareness moves down to your chin,

Back down your throat,

And to your heart.

Shifting freely,

The energy is moving through your whole body.

The energy you're observing is at the top of your right shoulder,

Moving all the way down your shoulder,

All the way to your right hand,

And then jumps from your right hand across to your left hand,

To the wrist joint in your left hand,

Up to the elbow on your left arm,

To your left shoulder.

Bringing the awareness back to your beautiful heart,

Moving down to your solar plexus,

To your belly.

Feel the energy in your belly,

Energy in your navel,

The energy moving to your back,

Energy running up and down your spine,

Down to your tailbone.

Feel the energy in your right hip joint,

And now the left hip joint,

Right thigh,

Right knee,

Right ankle,

And the right foot,

The big toe on the right foot,

The second toe on the right foot,

The third toe on the right foot,

The pinky toe on the right foot,

Awareness moving to your left foot,

To the pinky toe,

To the fourth toe,

To the middle toe,

To the toe next to the big toe,

Awareness now on the big toe on the left foot,

Bringing your awareness now to the left shin,

Left knee,

Left thigh,

Back to the base of the spine,

To your root chakra,

The energy feeling grounded,

Your whole energy grounding you into the here and now,

Energy moving from here back to your navel,

Back to your heart,

Back to the hollow of your throat as the breath is moving in and out,

Back to your eyebrow centre,

Back to the crown of your head,

Energy flowing from the crown of your head all the way to both your pinky toes,

Full body relaxed,

Full body awareness,

Healing energy,

Relaxing energy flowing through your whole body just like your breath that's breathing you now I invite you to become more aware of the breath,

There's no need to change the breath in any way,

Simply bringing more awareness to your breath,

As you exhale feel that you are letting go of fatigue,

Stress and tension as you inhale feel that you are pulling in boundless energy from the universe,

Exhale letting go of stress and tension,

Inhale filling up with energy,

Exhale from the crown of your head all the way down to your toes and now inhale from the toes all the way back up to the crown,

Exhale from the crown of your head down to your ankles,

Inhale from the ankles up to the crown of your head exhale from the crown all the way down to your tailbone to the base of your spine and inhale from your base all the way to the crown exhale from the crown down to the spine to the navel,

Inhale from the navel up the spine to the crown exhale from the crown down the spine to your heart center,

Inhale from the heart up the spine to your crown exhale from the crown to your throat,

Inhale from your throat up the spine to your crown,

Exhale from the crown down to the bridge of your nostrils,

Inhale from your nostrils up to the crown exhale from the crown to your eyes,

Inhale from your eyes to your crown feel the energy in your body,

Feel total relaxation in your body and I'm going to leave you now with your awareness back at your heart center and you can lay for a little longer and then you will hear the bowl chime when it's time to come back and when it's time to come back I invite you to give yourself a big hug
