Hi,

Frankie here.

Welcome to this deep sleep releasing the thinking mind sleep meditation.

I have created it to gently guide you into releasing the chatter.

This journey will help you to let go of any lingering thoughts of the day,

Releasing your tension and worries,

Allowing your body and mind to fully relax as you drift into restorative rest and sleep.

So get comfortable,

Ready for sleep,

Preferably laying on your back,

Hands by your side,

Or on your belly or your heart,

Any position for you that brings relaxation into your body.

I invite you to take a deep breath in through your nose and as you exhale slowly through your mouth,

Just releasing the day.

With each breath,

Allow your body to soften and settle into comfort.

Feel the weight of your body being supported completely by the surface beneath you.

Take a deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Imagine releasing any and all tension,

Tension in your shoulders,

Neck,

Your arms,

Legs.

With every breath,

You are sinking deeper into a state of relaxation.

Just observing your breath now,

And notice how it flows naturally,

Effortlessly,

Like the gentle waves on a calm shore.

With each inhale,

Draw in peace and calm,

And with each exhale,

You release any mental chatter,

Any thoughts that no longer serve you for the day.

As you continue to breathe,

Imagine a soft golden light surrounding your head.

This light is warm,

Soothing,

And healing.

It gently calms your thinking mind,

Creating space for stillness within.

Feel its gentle warmth spreading across your forehead,

Relaxing the space between your eyebrows,

Letting go.

Notice how it feels to simply be in this moment,

Without any judgment,

Without any analysis.

Imagine your mind as vast as the sky,

Limitless and ever-present.

Within this sky,

Your thoughts take form of clouds floating effortlessly in the boundless space above.

Some of these clouds may appear as dense and heavy,

Burdened with weight,

While others drift lightly,

Delicate and wispy.

Take a moment to observe these clouds without judgment or attachment.

Allow them to exist just as they are.

Gently moving across the sky,

Carried by the soft caress of a tender breeze.

These clouds of thoughts are not permanent,

They are merely visitors passing through.

You are not the clouds,

You are the infinite,

Expansive sky that graciously holds the clouds.

No matter how many thoughts appear,

Or how persistent they may seem,

Each one will eventually dissolve,

Carried away by the natural rhythm of time,

Leaving your inner sky clearer and more tranquil.

Now as you breathe,

Bring your awareness to your exhale.

With each slow,

Steady breath out,

Imagine you are blowing these clouds further and further away,

Dispersing them gently into the distance.

Picture the sky above you becoming more spacious,

More serene,

Radiating calm and luminous.

With every exhale,

The weight of your thoughts lifts,

And the beauty of the sky is revealed.

There is no need to rush this process.

The clouds are just vanishing in their own time,

At their own pace,

As it follows the natural rhythm of nature.

As you continue to release,

Thought by thought,

You may feel a profound sense of relief,

As though a heavy burden is being lifted from your being.

Notice lightness within you growing,

The calm deepening,

The clarity expanding with each gentle exhale.

Allow yourself to rest in this space for this moment,

Knowing that the sky of your mind is always there.

And now is a time for peace,

Infinite,

Filled with potential.

As you rest in this awareness,

Silently repeat to yourself,

I release my thoughts,

Each repetition carries you deeper into stillness.

Creating a shield around you,

You are not pushing the thoughts away,

But gently allowing them to dissolve,

Like mist in the morning sun.

Let this stillness grow within,

Filling not only your mind,

But your entire being.

This is your time to rest,

Your time to restore,

Your time to release.

Releasing the thinking mind completely,

And embracing the peace of sleep.

Now let's take a gentle journey through your body,

Bringing your awareness first to your feet.

Notice the soles of your feet,

The toes,

The tops of your feet.

Imagine them becoming warm,

Heavy and deeply relaxed.

Feel this sensation of relaxation spreading up through your ankles and calves.

Soothing every muscle,

Releasing any tension.

Move your focus upwards to your knees and thighs.

Picture them softening,

The muscles letting go of any tightness,

As they melt into comfort.

With every breath,

This wave of relaxation travels further,

Reaching deeper into your body.

Let your attention rest now on your hips and pelvis.

Imagine these areas softening and becoming completely relaxed,

Completely at ease.

As your abdomen rises and falls naturally with your breath,

Release all tension with your exhale.

Feel a deep sense of calm radiating from your core,

Spreading outwards.

Your awareness moves to your chest,

Feeling your heart beating steadily,

Gently.

Each beat reminds you that you are safe,

Supported and loved.

Let your shoulders relax,

Dropping away from your ears.

Any weight or burden that you have been carrying simply slipping away,

As though it's being lifted from your body completely.

Awareness to your arms and hands.

Feel them grow warm,

Heavy and still.

Each individual finger,

Each joint,

Each part of your arms relaxes completely,

As though they are being cradled by the softest,

Most comforting energy.

Awareness and focus on your jaw and neck.

These are areas that hold tension,

But now they are softening.

Let your jaw unclench fully.

Your tongue is resting in your mouth,

And your throat is relaxing.

Feel a sense of openness here,

As your breath flows freely through your entire body.

Finally,

Your awareness to your face and head.

Imagine the golden light from earlier spreading across your forehead,

Relaxing the space between your eyes.

Soothing your temples.

Your eyelids grow heavier,

As though they are being lovingly kissed by sleep.

Even the tiny muscles of your scalp are releasing any lingering tension.

Your entire body is now enveloped in relaxation,

From your toes to the top of your head.

You are completely at ease,

Ready to drift into restorative sleep.

Perhaps you'll go into your own dream world,

Or you can listen as I speak of some imagery.

Imagine yourself in a peaceful,

Serene setting.

Perhaps it's a quiet beach where the waves gently lap against the shore.

Or a lush forest where the scent of pine and earth fills the air.

Or maybe you're in a soft meadow under a starlit sky,

Where the cool night breeze carries whispers of comfort.

Whatever place you choose,

Make it yours.

See it.

Feel it.

And let it welcome you.

Notice the details of this place.

If you're on the beach,

Feel the soft sand beneath your feet.

The gentle warmth of the sun that has just set.

And the soothing rhythm of the ocean.

If you're in the forest,

Hear the rustling leaves.

The distant call of an owl.

And the feeling of being embraced by tall,

Protective trees.

Or perhaps you're in the meadow,

And you gaze up at the stars,

Each one twinkling like a promise of peace.

Let these sensory details ground you into this space.

Imagine yourself lying down in this space.

The ground beneath you is soft,

Supportive,

And safe.

As you rest here,

Feel yourself becoming lighter.

As though the earth is holding all your worries,

And taking them away.

This is your sanctuary.

A place where you feel free from distractions of the day.

Where time slows down,

And you are fully at ease.

As you look around,

Notice how peaceful it feels.

The colors are soothing.

The sounds are gentle.

And the air is filled with calm.

You are completely present in this moment.

Free from the pull of the past,

Of concerns,

Of the future.

There is only now,

And it is peaceful,

Relaxed,

Serene.

Imagine the energy of this place wrapping around you,

Like a warm,

Comforting blanket.

It's as though the universe itself is cradling you.

Whispering that you are safe,

You are loved,

And you are at peace.

Let this energy carry you deeper and deeper into relaxation.

Until all that is left is the soft pull of sleep.

And if you are still awake,

You can repeat these affirmations after me.
