Welcome,

Dear soul,

To bringing peace into your body,

A deep sleep journey to ground you into the pulse of the earth,

Bringing peace into your body,

Mind and soul.

Begin by breathing through your nose,

Letting your belly expand on each inhale,

Holding for just a moment and then letting it go,

Again inhaling,

Letting your belly expand and exhaling,

Letting go.

Slow deep breaths,

Using your belly as a pump,

As you inhale through your nose,

Bringing in peace,

As you exhale through your mouth,

Letting go.

Now feel both your belly and chest fully expanding with each inhale,

And gently contracting with each exhale,

Deep in,

Expanding,

And exhaling,

Letting go.

With every slow breath in,

Your belly rises,

And with every exhale,

You soften,

Releasing everything.

Breathing in deeply and slowly,

Letting go of the weight of the day,

Inviting peace into your body,

Bringing in stillness,

Bringing in calm.

With every breath,

You are becoming lighter,

And your body is sinking deeper into rest.

Perhaps notice the sound of your breath,

Notice the temperature of the air as you inhale,

And the gentle warmth of your exhale.

Each breath an invitation to release the day,

To let go of its weight,

And to invite peace into your body,

Bringing in stillness,

Bringing in calm.

With every breath,

You are becoming lighter,

And your body is sinking deeper into rest.

Notice the sound of your breath,

Notice the cool air as you inhale,

And the gentle warmth of your exhale.

Let this rhythm carry you inward,

Let the breath begin to deepen you into peace,

Releasing any tension or stress of the day.

As you continue breathing your own slow rhythm now,

Bring awareness to the sensations of your body,

Feel the mattress beneath you,

Supporting every curve of your body.

Feel mother earth below you,

Always holding you,

Always steady.

Each exhale helps you sink even deeper,

Merging with the earth,

Becoming one with its calm and grounding presence.

In this place,

You are safe,

You are supported,

And you can let go.

Now allow your breathing to settle into its own natural flow,

Breathing however your body wishes,

Softly,

Gently,

Peacefully.

We will now begin a peaceful journey through your body,

A slow and gentle scan of peace,

Bringing your awareness all the way down to your feet.

Notice your right foot,

Perhaps wiggle your toes gently,

Feeling the sensations in the sole of your foot.

Now let your awareness shift to your left foot,

Wiggling the toes,

Feeling the soft awareness in the sole of your left foot.

With each breath,

Imagine a warm glowing energy enveloping both feet,

Both feet wrapped in a blanket of peace.

This peaceful energy is now rising slowly up your legs,

Washing away tension,

Soothing the muscles,

Softening and releasing.

With every breath you take,

Your legs grow lighter,

As if melting into the mattress,

Yet they also feel heavy and grounded,

Sinking deeper and deeper into rest.

Let this peaceful wave rise through your thighs now.

Feel them supported,

Safe,

Held by the bed beneath you.

Notice the stillness settling in,

As your awareness now moves to your chest.

Feel the gentle rise and fall as you breathe.

Each breath anchors you into this moment,

Anchors you into peace.

Thoughts drift away now,

Like clouds in the vast sky.

With each breath,

Drifting,

Floating away,

Leaving only stillness,

Only calm.

As you move your awareness to your torso,

Notice the soft expansion of your ribs,

The gentle rise and fall of your belly,

Like the rhythm of waves upon the shore,

The inhale,

The exhale,

The rising,

The falling,

The bringing in and the letting go,

Your whole body breathing in harmony,

Harmony with the tides of peace.

Relaxing your abdomen,

Softening your chest,

And allow everything to release,

For there is nothing to hold onto now,

Only letting go.

As your awareness shifts to your arms,

Feel them resting easily at your sides,

Supported completely.

Notice if there is any weight in your shoulders.

With each breath,

Simply let it melt away,

Relaxing your shoulders.

Feel your arms becoming light,

Hands are soft,

Fingers at ease,

Soft thumbs,

Pointer fingers are relaxed,

Middle fingers light and free,

Ring fingers are calm,

And the little pinky fingers are floating.

Your hands,

Arms and shoulders now fully relaxed,

Filled with peace,

Your awareness peacefully moving to your neck,

Notice any tightness,

Release it with the next exhale,

Let your throat soften and allow your whole neck to relax deeply.

Awareness now to your head,

Notice your jaw,

Allow it to soften,

Notice your lips,

Gently relaxed.

Awareness to your tongue,

It rests softly in your mouth,

Your cheeks loosen,

Your eyes grow heavy,

Sinking into their sockets,

Your forehead smooths,

And your whole face is calm and serene.

Now bringing your awareness to the space between your eyebrows,

The third eye,

The gentle centre of inner peace.

Focus softly there as you breathe,

Inhale fresh healing oxygen,

Perhaps hold it gently,

And then release it out,

With each breath your being understands it's time for sleep.

Your body is fully relaxed,

Your breath effortless,

Your mind quiet,

Peace now fills every part of you,

Perhaps you notice the sensations of your chest rising and falling,

Anchoring you in this calm,

Notice the stillness around you,

Your body is safe,

Supported and completely at ease.

Now allow yourself to feel as if you are floating,

Drifting weightless,

Held by peace,

Each exhale carries you deeper now,

Deeper into rest,

Deeper into sleep,

Imagine clouds surrounding you,

Soft and light,

You are floating upon them now,

Drifting further and further,

Carried by a gentle breeze into the dreamscape.

If you haven't already,

Now is the time to let go completely,

Allow yourself to surrender fully to this peace,

Your body knows what to do,

Your breath knows what to do,

You are safe,

You are ready for sleep,

And so now as you float upon these soft clouds,

You feel peace flowing into your body with every breath,

With each inhale you welcome peace into every cell of your being,

Your mind becomes clear,

Calm,

Quiet and still,

You let go of the day and rest in peace,

Peace surrounds you in this very moment,

Your body is safe,

Soft and at ease,

Each breath carries you deeper into peace,

As if you are wrapped in the gentle arms of calm,

Peace fills your heart now,

Peace soothes your soul,

Your body knows how to rest deeply,

So you surrender fully into the peace of sleep,

Tranquility washes through you like a gentle wave,

And your thoughts grow quiet and peaceful,

You are one with the calm of the night,

Your body feels heavy,

Relaxed and at peace,

You let go of all worries with ease,

This peace is your natural state of being now,

You are worthy of deep and peaceful rest,

Your breath is slow,

Steady and peaceful,

You are cradled in peace and safety,

Your mind releases all tension into the stillness,

Peace flows gently through your body and soul,

You rest in harmony with the universe,

Your body a sanctuary of peace and calm,

Every breath brings you deeper into serenity,

Peace surrounds you,

Peace is within you,

Every day you are becoming more and more at peace,

As you drift peacefully into the dream world,

Your spirit rests in deep tranquility,

You are calm,

You are peaceful,

You are free,

Let the warmth of your bed embrace you,

Let your body soften into mother earth,

Let peace carry you deeper and deeper,

You are floating,

You are free,

You are resting in peace,

And as you drift into sleep,

Know that you are worthy of rest,

Worthy of calm,

Worthy of peace,

Whole body relaxed,

Mind is quiet,

And you are now entering the deep peaceful world of sleep,

As peace flows into your body with every breath now,

Your subconscious mind can say these affirmations after me,

I am welcoming peace into every cell of my being,

My mind is calm,

Quiet and still,

I let go of the day and rest in peace,

Peace surrounds me in this moment,

My body is safe,

Soft and at ease,

Each breath carries me deeper into peace,
