Welcome.

I'm Bethany,

And I'm honored to be here with you.

This meditation invites you to gently connect with an inner ally or guide,

Someone or some being that brings you a felt sense of support,

Calm,

And safety.

As always,

Move at your own pace.

You are welcome to pause,

Adjust,

Or soften the experience in any way that feels right for you.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable position,

Allowing your body to settle,

Noticing the support beneath you,

Noticing the breath as it flows,

Soft and unforced.

There's nothing you need to do,

So just let yourself arrive gently.

If it feels supportive,

Begin to imagine or feel into a place,

Real or imagined,

Where you feel peaceful and safe.

This is usually best when it's a place where you can feel comfortable to be alone.

This might be a forest clearing,

A wide-open meadow,

A sunlit beach,

A quiet cabin,

Or even a glowing field of light.

It can also be somewhere you've never seen before,

But your body knows it by feeling.

Take your time.

There's no rush to see it clearly.

Just sense the feeling of being there.

Notice the colors,

The textures,

The light.

Notice how your body feels in this place.

Supported,

Still,

Relaxed.

If at any point the image fades or the feeling goes,

You can simply return to your breath.

Your peaceful place will wait for you,

And you can always return later.

Now,

From within this peaceful place,

Begin to imagine that you are not alone.

There is a kind,

Compassionate presence nearby.

A being,

Figure,

Animal,

Or energy that brings a sense of kindness and wisdom.

This is your inner guide or ally.

Someone or some being that exists to support you.

You don't have to see it clearly.

You may just feel its presence.

It might appear as a wise woman,

A gentle animal,

A loving ancestor,

A light form,

Or even a feeling.

There is no right or wrong here.

Trust what comes and go with it.

You can ask your guide to come closer if that feels okay,

Or simply sit nearby.

Notice what you feel in your body as this presence arrives.

If it feels supportive,

Imagine your guide offering you something.

A message,

A gesture,

A symbol,

A gift,

A feeling.

There's nothing you need to do.

Just allow it to come.

Perhaps you hear words.

Perhaps you feel a knowing.

Perhaps there is simply a quiet presence,

And that's enough.

Take a few slow breaths and receive what is offered.

Know that you are never alone.

This ally is a reflection of your own wisdom and inner strength.

Feel that connection to your guide and your inner strength now.

When you feel ready,

Thank your guide in a way that feels right for you.

Know that you can return to this peaceful place and reconnect with this presence anytime you choose.

Begin to let the image gently soften.

Bring your awareness back to your breath,

Back to your body,

Back to the space you're in.

Wiggle your fingers and toes if you'd like,

And notice the support beneath you once again.

May the presence of your guide continue to support you softly,

Quietly from within.

Gently open your eyes and return to your day with a little more steadiness and a little more light.
