Welcome,
I'm Bethany and I'm honored to begin this new day with you.
This is time for you to awaken gently,
To return to yourself,
And to begin your day grounded,
Clear,
And whole.
Allow your breath to deepen just slightly.
Let your body arrive in this moment,
And if it feels supportive,
You may softly close your eyes or gaze toward the light.
Take a moment to sense your body in space.
Feel where you're supported,
From the ground,
Your seat,
Or the bed beneath you.
Now,
Begin to notice your surroundings,
The temperature of the air,
The sounds nearby,
The light gently shifting into the room.
As you breathe in,
Welcome this new beginning,
And as you breathe out,
Let go of anything from yesterday that does not need to come with you.
Tell yourself,
Inside,
This is a new day,
I am allowed to begin again.
Now,
If it feels right for you,
Imagine the sun rising,
Not just in the sky,
But in your own body.
You might feel it at your core,
Your heart,
Your belly,
A soft warmth glowing brighter with each breath.
Allow this light to move through you,
Warming your chest,
Your arms,
Your spine.
Let it reach your hands,
Your legs,
And your feet.
This is your inner sun,
Your clarity,
Your energy,
Your self-energy.
Let it light up your path for today.
Feel yourself now glowing,
Full of light from the inside,
Warm and bright.
Now gently turn inward,
Notice any parts of you that may already be stirring,
Perhaps with worry,
Planning,
Resistance,
Or urgency.
Take a moment to welcome them.
Good morning,
I see you.
You don't have to run the day alone.
Let them feel your presence,
And your light.
Let them know they're not in charge today,
You,
The you that's not apart,
Is here with them.
Feel your feet or sit bones pressing downward,
Feel your spine rising just a bit more.
You may say inwardly,
I am rooted in what matters,
I move through this day with steadiness and trust.
I have everything I need within me.
Allow these words to land in your system.
Breathe them in like nourishment.
Now ask your heart,
What do I need most today?
And allow it to come naturally and easily,
Trusting what arrives.
It may be a word,
A feeling,
Or a simple phrase.
Let that be your guidepost.
Hold it gently in your awareness,
As you move into your day.
As this meditation comes to a close,
I thank you for beginning your day in this way.
May you carry this connection with your breath,
Your body,
Yourself,
And to everything you touch today.
And may your own light guide you forward,
Steadily,
Wisely,
And with ease.
When you feel ready,
Open your eyes,
Feel into your body,
Notice the room you're in.
And now you may step into your day,
Feeling whole and grounded.
