All right,
Allow the eyes to gently close,
Or the gaze to soften,
Whichever feels more natural.
Allow the body to relax,
Any tension in the face,
Jaw,
Is unneeded right now.
Notice that you're already here,
You're already now.
Awareness is already always aware,
Even when the conscious mind is distracted,
Awareness is present,
Just there as the awareness,
This open,
Impartial field.
Notice these next sounds,
Sounds my voice,
A bird outside,
A car driving by,
Notice how this arises.
Awareness is aware,
Sound arises within awareness,
Awareness is still aware,
The sound exists as long as it exists.
Awareness continues to be aware,
And the sound falls away,
Notice there really is nothing required from awareness,
To be aware of sounds,
Sound arises with whatever quality,
Whatever loudness or softness,
With whatever duration.
Awareness is unaffected,
Rest into that,
That open state,
All sounds are allowed,
And nothing is required from awareness,
There really is nowhere to go,
There's nothing to do.
Really get present,
Right here,
Right now.
Notice that all sound simply appears,
Spontaneous phenomenon,
Only a mind assigns causes,
Rests as the witness,
All the way back,
From the open state,
Sound simply appears,
From this state,
No sound is good,
No sound is bad,
Sound simply appears,
Awareness is aware.
Notice that all senses,
All sensations,
Light and seeing,
Flavor and tasting,
Sound and hearing,
Texture and feeling,
Scent and smelling,
All of this pattern,
Awareness is,
Sensation arises,
Awareness is,
Sensation exists,
Sensation falls away,
Awareness is,
Rest there,
Which is here,
It never leaves,
You are that,
That awareness,
Awareness of being,
Awareness of sensation,
As we rest into this open state,
Where awareness is allowing all sensations,
Clinging to none,
Notice these next thoughts,
Thoughts about the weather,
What happened yesterday,
What will happen today,
Notice that the thought spontaneously arises,
This way it's its own phenomenon,
Awareness is no more aware of the next thought,
As it was aware of the previous thought,
Thought simply arises,
Exists,
And falls away,
Really nothing required from awareness,
Rest back in that open state,
As awareness itself,
Thought arises,
Awareness notices,
Thought exists,
Awareness notices,
Thought falls away,
Awareness notices,
No attachment,
No focus,
Just ah,
There's nothing to deny here,
This open state allows all,
If the mind labels a thought dark or negative,
That can be allowed too,
No need to bring a positive or good thought,
These are mind created labels,
Assigned values,
Rest back into the open state,
As awareness itself,
As we rest in this open state of awareness,
A state that never leaves,
That never begins,
Never ends,
As we allow thoughts,
No matter their shape or content,
Or assigned value,
As we allow sensation,
No matter what appears,
Notice that emotions also follow the same pattern,
An emotion spontaneously arises,
Any attempt to justify or dismiss is simply another appearance,
Awareness has no preference,
Happy,
Sad,
Rageful,
Joyful,
All must be equally capable of appearing,
Rest in that open state,
All thoughts,
All emotions,
All sensations,
Equally allowed,
There's nowhere to go,
There's nothing to do,
This is your natural state,
This state cannot be extended or improved,
This state cannot be diminished,
There is no right way to be here,
There is no wrong way to be here,
Your being here is perfect,
Right here,
Right now,
As you rest in this open state,
This open awareness,
Noticing all that appear,
Where are you noticing from,
Do you find the center,
Is the center everywhere,
You cannot fail at this,
Are already always aware,
You are always already awareness,
All appearances appear within you,
Here and now,
Rest in that remembering,
Give yourself grace,
This is all that appears,
There is no need to label or judge or assign value,
Be with what is,
There is nothing to do,
Awareness is always whole,
Is always full,
Is always complete,
You are always whole,
You are always full,
You are always complete,
Rest in that remembering,
Allow yourself to begin moving fingers and toes and coming back,
But leave like you never left,
