Releasing Negative Emotions Welcome.

This is your time to release what no longer serves you.

The emotions,

Thoughts or energy that have been sitting heavy on your heart.

Find a comfortable position,

Sitting or lying down and allow your body to settle into stillness.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth,

Letting out a quiet sigh.

Do that again in through your nose and out through your mouth,

Longer,

Slower,

Softer.

With every exhale,

You begin to loosen the weight you've been carrying.

There's nowhere to be,

Nothing to fix,

Just you arriving back home to yourself.

Allow your awareness to drift inward now,

Noticing the rhythm of your breath.

Each inhale brings in calm and oxygen.

Each exhale releases tension and thought.

Imagine a warm light resting above your head.

With every breath,

That light begins to flow gently down through you,

Relaxing,

Soothing,

Soothing,

Softening.

It moves down over your forehead,

Smoothing away the tightness between your brows,

Across your eyes,

Your cheeks,

Your jaw,

The muscles unwinding as you breathe.

Feel the light flow through your neck and shoulders,

Dissolving the buildup of strain or pressure you've been holding.

Down through your chest and arms,

Into your hands and fingertips.

Your body grows heavier,

Supported,

Safe,

Anchored right where you are.

Now imagine that in front of you is a soft winding staircase that leads down to a place of peace within yourself.

And you'll take this journey step by step,

Descending into deeper calm.

And with each number,

Your body relaxes more deeply.

Deeper still,

Peaceful and grounded,

Peaceful and grounded,

Drifting,

Almost there,

And 1,

Stepping into your inner sanctuary.

This space is yours alone,

Safe,

Peaceful,

Sacred.

It might appear as a forest clearing,

A soft beach,

Or a golden light.

Whatever you see is perfect.

And in this space,

Take a moment to notice how your body feels.

You may sense where old emotions are sitting,

Perhaps heaviness in your chest,

Tightness in your stomach,

Or a dull ache in your shoulders.

You don't need to judge it or push it away.

Just acknowledge it.

You've carried it long enough.

Now imagine that in your hands,

You hold a small glowing lantern.

This light represents your ability to transform what you feel,

To release and renew.

As you look around,

You notice a gentle stream flowing nearby.

Its water is crystal clear,

Calm and inviting.

You walk toward it slowly,

Holding the lantern close.

When you reach the edge,

Imagine that the emotions you're ready to release,

Frustration,

Sadness,

Guilt,

Or whatever comes to mind,

Begin to gather into the light of your lantern.

You don't need to name each one.

Just allow the energy of them to drift from your body.

And into the glow.

Now gently lower the lantern into the stream.

And as it touches the water,

The light expands,

Washing through the current and carrying those old emotions away.

You might see the water shimmer as it flows,

Transforming heaviness into light.

The stream knows exactly what to do.

It cleanses,

Renews and restores.

And as you watch the current carry that light away,

You feel your whole body begin to lighten,

As though a long-held tension is finally dissolving.

Now imagine fresh light rising up from that stream,

Flowing back into you through your feet,

Your legs,

Your arms,

Your arms,

Your core,

Filling you with peace and strength.

And whisper gently to yourself now,

I am safe to let go.

I release what no longer serves me.

I allow calm and clarity to fill my heart.

And with each breath,

That truth settles deeper.

You are no longer holding on to what's heavy.

You are lighter,

Freer,

More yourself than ever before.

And take a few moments here to simply be.

Feeling your body breathe again,

Open again,

Live again.

It's time now to return.

Bringing with you only the peace,

The clarity and the ease you've found here.

Take a deeper breath in and exhale fully.

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

Feel the surface supporting you.

Notice the room around you,

The air,

The sound.

And in a moment,

I'll count from one to five.

And with each number,

You'll come back refreshed,

Calm and clear.

One,

Feeling your breath deepen.

Two,

Your energy returning.

Three,

Your mind clear and balanced.

Four,

Your body grounded and strong.

Five,

Eyes open for the awake,

Peaceful,

Calm and light.

And take a final deep breath in.

And exhale gratitude for how far you've come.

And for the strength that lives quietly within you.

You can return to this space anytime you need to release,

Reset and remember who you are.
