Much love,
Meditator.
Welcome and get comfortable.
In this meditation,
We will be practicing Anapana.
Full translation is Anapanasati,
Meaning mindfulness of breathing,
Paying attention to the breath.
This meditation technique is profound in its results with regular practice.
So whenever you are ready,
Take a few deep breaths in and out through the nose,
In through the nose,
Out through the nose,
As you become more and more aware of your breathing,
Of the air passing in and out through the nostrils.
Once you are finished with taking deep breaths,
Return back to your natural breathing and your only job now is to observe,
Be aware and attentive of your breath continuously.
It is always changing,
Watching the inflow and the outflow of the breath without any kind of judgment or evaluation,
Simply watching it be with an aware and attentive mind.
There is no right or wrong sensation.
The mind usually begins to wander at some point while you are observing your breath.
Never get discouraged when this happens.
Simply redirect your awareness back to your natural breathing over and over again without trying to change or control it,
Continuously observing the breath,
The in-breath,
The out-breath.
Is there air going in and out more of one nostril than the other?
How is the temperature of the air passing through the nose?
Can you feel the air passing the upper lip on the inhale or the exhale,
The in-breath or the out-breath?
What all can you observe about the breath?
Continuously watching the breath.
It is ever-changing.
The inhale keeps changing into an exhale and the exhale goes back into an inhale.
There is no right or wrong.
There is only the breath.
Only you,
The observer,
Watching the breath going in and out,
Doubling up your awareness through observation of your breathing.
Now I will leave you for a couple minutes to keep practicing Anapanasati.
Continuously watching your breath,
Alert,
Attentive,
And aware,
Continuously,
Beginning now.
May all beings everywhere be happy,
Be healthy,
Be free from suffering,
Full of liberation,
Happiness,
Peace,
Love,
And harmony.
Thank you so much for being here.
Great job.
Make sure to practice Anapana regularly in order to improve your life,
Improve yourself,
Find peace,
Love,
And harmony at your core.
Thank you and well done.
