Much love,

Meditator,

And welcome to this guided meditation that is designed to help you better connect to your heart.

So please take a few moments to get in a comfortable meditating position,

Either sitting or laying down.

And while you do so,

I want to let you know that your heart is your true brain.

It is what's really guiding you through life.

If you've ever understood the phrase,

Listen to your heart,

Then you know what I mean.

The heart has an electromagnetic field that extends up to several feet beyond the physical body.

Studies have indicated that coherent,

Calm heart rhythms could contribute to emotional balance and well-being.

Some researchers explore whether this field plays a role in intuition,

Social bonding,

Or collective consciousness.

Because that electromagnetic field may interact with other people's fields,

Influencing emotions and communication.

So yeah,

We want to get real in touch with our hearts and trust it.

Let's begin our meditation.

Gently close the eyes and take some slow,

Deep,

Even-paced breaths.

No specific pace or count to these breaths,

Unless you so choose.

Let's gain some control over the breath so we can start to slow everything down.

Feel and observe the air moving in and out of the body.

Notice the quality of your breathing.

Let's return back to the natural breath and observe the natural breathing for a few moments.

So without trying to control or change the inhale or the exhale,

Just watching it be on your own for a few moments here.

Now it's time to bring awareness to your heart.

Be it the entire chest area or the left side of your chest where the actual heart is.

Just observe without judgment and with a somewhat curiosity.

What does it feel like?

There is no right or wrong answer.

Maybe you can tune into your heartbeat.

Whatever it is that you feel and observe,

Be totally with it now.

No matter what thoughts or feelings may come up,

Redirect your awareness back to the area of your heart over and over again.

Now this may sound cliche or obvious,

But your heart loves you.

It wants you to feel good,

Feel loved and feel happy.

It wants to be open,

Not restricted.

It wants to be protected,

Not guarded.

It wants to receive,

Not take.

It knows what is going on before your brain can process it.

It is such a beautiful and amazing phenomenon that wants to be embraced.

Sit alone with your heart for a few moments.

Maybe you want to speak to your heart.

Tell it what you feel it needs to hear.

Tell it what you feel you need to hear.

Always returning back to the breath.

While still holding the space for the heart.

And now you can imagine a shining light coming from the deepest depth of your heart.

Starting small and then watching it grow.

And shining brighter.

And bigger.

And warmer.

Until your heart is nothing but a bright shining light.

This light is working to help heal your heart.

Any and all of what it has been through.

Feel its warmth.

Its pure intentions.

Its protection and compassion.

Sit for a few moments with this healing light.

And now return back to your natural breathing.

Tune back into the breath without trying to change or control it.

Bring awareness to the entire physical body.

Taking your time coming out of this meditation.

Harnessing all the power and love you just cultivated within your heart.

And whenever you're ready,

End your meditation by opening your eyes.

Well done.

Much love,

Meditator.
