So find yourself in a comfortable position.
You can be sitting in a chair,
On the floor,
Lying in a bed or on a couch.
And just give yourself a moment to shift your body and to sink a little deeper into your space.
And as you feel yourself getting a little heavier,
A little more relaxed,
Bring your attention to your breath.
Feel yourself inhaling deep into your belly.
And as you exhale,
Just allow your body to sink a little deeper,
Relaxing a little more fully into the sound of my voice and into your space.
Focus on the inhale,
Going deep into your belly.
And as you exhale,
Feel the tension in your shoulders and your hips relax.
Deep inhale into the belly.
And as you exhale,
Feel your body soften,
Feel your muscles relax,
And yourself sink deeper and deeper into this moment,
Into my voice,
And into yourself.
And as you bring yourself to a normal breath,
Feeling relaxed,
Feeling open,
I want you to think back to a time that you asked for help or asked for what you wanted and it wasn't received.
Allow an age or a time to show itself to you without judgment.
Notice how old you are.
See the people that were around you who you'd asked for help.
And remember what it felt like when you placed yourself in the beautiful space of asking for what you needed and for it not to be received.
And bring yourself to your current age,
To the current you,
To the one meditating.
And walk yourself into this memory and into this time.
And notice any new ways you can look at this experience.
Maybe somebody that you had asked was going through something or preoccupied.
Maybe the person that you asked did not have the capacity within themselves to support you.
Maybe the way in which you asked wasn't clear and they didn't understand what you were really wanting in that moment.
And just take a moment here and explain with your adult fresh eyes,
Looking at this moment,
To the you who is hurt and felt unheard.
And as you explain the situation from a different perspective,
Allow the little you to tell you what they wanted,
What they needed,
What they desired.
With love,
Receive this part of you,
Receiving the ask,
Receiving what you needed,
And offer support to your little you in the way that they need to receive it here in this moment.
Use the little you need a hug,
To be held,
To be heard,
To be witnessed.
Take a moment and feel the expression of her using her voice,
You receiving it and offering back the love and the attention and the care.
Notice the difference in how this feels,
What comes through.
Can you notice that this feels complete and the little you feels so connected to using their voice,
To sharing their words and their wants and their needs?
Release them and come back to the sound of my voice into this moment.
Feeling yourself getting heavier and heavier into the couch or the chair or the bed.
Focusing on your breath and your body.
And then go back to another time that you asked for something that you desired or wanted and it wasn't heard and it wasn't received.
Whatever experience or age shows up,
Be present to receive it.
Knowing that spirit is here with us,
Present,
Guiding this meditation.
Remember what it felt like to ask,
To require love and attention and support and not receive it.
Notice how old you were,
Where you were,
The people that were present.
Allow yourself to feel the shame or the anger or the hurt and being so open to making the ask and it not being received.
Now come back into your present day adult self and look upon this event,
This experience from the eyes of knowledge and of knowing.
What can you see differently through this experience that maybe you didn't notice when you were young or hurting?
Can you go to that younger version of you now and share this new perception and this new awareness with them?
And then turn to them and ask them to ask you for what they desire,
For what they need.
Allow yourself to receive with love the ask that you were trying to make as a child or an adolescent.
Feel how it feels to speak these words out and be honored,
To be cared for and loved.
Maybe this younger version of you feels just so free and having spoken and being acknowledged,
Maybe they require a hug for you to hold their hands.
Be present for this incredible opportunity for you both to share in these feelings of being heard and being honored.
Now when this feels complete,
Come back into the present moment,
To the space in which you're sitting on the couch,
In a chair or lying down.
Come back into the sound of my voice,
Into your breath.
And we're going to go back into one more memory,
One more time that you asked for what you desired or you wanted or needed.
And it felt like the person you were talking to did not hear your voice,
Did not honor what you asked for,
Who did not give you what you needed.
Allow yourself to feel the sensations of using your voice and not being heard.
Remember the experience and the people involved.
Feel yourself fully present in that moment.
And now come back to the view of the experience from your present age,
From your present time,
Looking back,
Seeing with eyes that were not involved in the emotions.
Bring yourself back to that time as your current self.
According to the little one,
The adolescent one,
Or maybe the adult you who feels hurt,
Show them what happened through the eyes of which they couldn't see back when they were younger.
Offer them information so they know that this wasn't their fault,
That they were brave and asking.
Let them see all the other things that were occurring around them.
When the younger you is ready,
Allow them to share their ask with you now,
To voice their feelings,
Their thoughts or their ideas,
And for you to receive them with love,
Support,
Guidance.
Feel the difference it feels when you are heard,
When you can use your voice and for to be received in a loving way.
Ask the younger you what they require to feel fully supported here in this moment and be open to giving it.
Notice acknowledgement of voice or hugging or supporting,
Cheering.
Notice the difference in energy and frequency and vibration.
And you allow yourself to speak and receive.
And when you're complete in the sharing of this experience,
Come back into the present moment,
The sound of my voice,
To the space that you're sitting.
We're going to take a moment here to acknowledge that in all forms and always spirit is guiding us to the people and the experiences required for our expansion and our growth.
That everything that is of spirit is of love.
And even when we ask for what we want,
Of someone who cannot give it,
We can ask it of ourselves and of God and of the universe.
Let us fully become present to receive,
Opening up to knowing that God is bringing into our path exactly the person who can support our expansion and our growth through the gifts and the lessons that we learn.
Let us be present to receive the answer in the form that God is offering it.
Excited,
Open,
Ready.
Let us see the responses of others as not obstacles in our paths,
But opportunities to learn more about ourselves.
Ready to learn,
Ready to grow,
Ready to shine brighter in the knowing that we aren't doing this alone,
That there is always support for us and always.
Feel yourself open up the crown,
Open to receive today,
Open to use your voice,
Asking source creator for what you desire and open to receive the answer in whatever form it may present itself.
Excited for the journey.
Take a few deep breaths here,
Releasing any tension that's left over.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes.
