And welcome to the short meditation focusing on our Svaristhana chakra or our sacral chakra.

Allow yourself to find a comfortable seat resting either on a cushion or a chair.

Perhaps you'd like to take this meditation laying down.

Just give yourself a few moments to make any adjustments that you need and then find stillness to the best of your ability.

If it feels safe for you now you can flutter the eyes closed and begin to tune into your breath letting the belly rise and fall.

Taking a big inhale through the nose and sigh it out letting the shoulders drip down the back and surrendering into your posture.

Allowing the spine to remain tall and free yet rooted.

So bring your awareness now back to the sacral chakra.

This place about two fingers length below the belly button.

You can feel the breath even in this area.

And as your awareness focuses on this area begin to envision a beautiful soft burnt orange and let this color fill up your field fill up your body and to fill your mind.

Allow your breathing to be deep and slow and the breath to be massaging the sacral area.

This chakra is the seed of emotions governed by the element of water.

The watery nature of our sexual organs and from this place from this chakra we nurture our intimate relationships with another person.

Yes in the root chakra we understand our relationship with our tribe with our community.

As we've moved up to the sacral chakra we begin to understand our one-on-one relationships with those close to us.

So perhaps now in your mind's eye you can think of someone you're close to a sibling a loved one a dear friend.

How is your relationship with this person?

Are your emotions moving freely like water or are they stuck or stagnant?

Yes from this place our creativity blossoms and from this place we see the deep ocean of our own emotional waters.

As you continue to envision this beautiful burnt orange you can begin to repeat the seed sound or bija mantra of this vadisthana chakra vam.

With every inhalation and with every exhalation hear the sound vam wash over your mental landscape and activate our sacral chakra.

Anytime you are in need of connecting with this place you can always return to the seed or bija mantra vam and focus your awareness on this space two fingertips below the belly button and governed by the beautiful movement and depth of water.

You can take one or both hands now and place them on or near this area and begin to connect on a physical level with your sacral or svaadisthana chakra.

Taking one last final deep inhalation and one long deep exhalation and when you're ready you can gently open your eyes.
