Welcome to the Deoist Prayer.
Find your comfy space warm and cozy with a tall relaxed spy.
Soften and gently close your eyes.
Place your heart hand now.
Thumb towards your heart.
Fingers softly upright toward the sky.
Now place your belly hand at your lower abdomen.
Palm up like a small bowl.
Your little finger closest to the belly.
Let your shoulders melt.
Jaw loosens.
Your breath is kind.
And if your arms become tired just let them rest by your sides and bring them back into position when you're ready.
Just feel the gentle rise and fall of your breath.
On your inhale notice the belly hand receive the breath like a cup.
And on your exhale sense a subtle warmth gather beneath your navel.
Let your heart hand stand like a quiet tree.
Thumb resting near your heart.
Fingers ascending.
A reminder of heaven above.
The ball of the belly hand receives earth below.
You are the bridge.
Breathe in for four counts now.
Two,
Three,
Four.
Belly softens and fills.
And breathe out for six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Warmth is settling into your lower belly.
Repeat for five cycles now.
Keeping your breath smooth and silent.
Breathe in for four.
Your belly is softening.
Pause.
Breathe out for six.
The warmth is settling into your belly.
And continue.
And once more in for a count of four.
Two,
Three,
Four.
Pause.
And exhale for six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Beautiful.
Now just resume your natural breathing pattern as we go into the deoist prayer.
So silently or out loud repeat after me.
May I move with the deo,
Simple,
Clear,
And kind.
May my heart be open,
My steps be light.
Like water,
May I find the easy way around all things.
In stillness,
I return.
In softness,
I am strong.
Emptied of striving,
I am filled with life.
Let's repeat this prayer one more time.
May I move with the deo,
Simple,
Clear,
And kind.
May my heart be open,
My steps be light.
Like water,
May I find the easy way around all things.
In stillness,
I return.
In softness,
I am strong.
Emptied of striving,
I am filled with life.
Beautiful.
Now a nourishing mantra for effortless alignment.
Wu Wei,
Non-forcing,
Natural flow.
Inhale gently through your nose and on your exhale whisper or think Wu Wei.
Feel the heart hand soften,
The belly hand warm.
And let's continue for four more breaths with the mantra Wu Wei.
Inhale,
Exhale Wu Wei.
In your own time now.
And once more inhale and as you exhale whisper or think Wu Wei.
Wonderful.
Now let's just do a Ling Chi mantra.
It's a sacred healing breath.
Inhale and as you exhale whisper Ling Chi.
Two more times in your own time.
Inhale.
Ling Chi.
Continue.
If thoughts arise just let them drift like clouds.
And once more inhale and exhale softly Ling Chi.
Wonderful.
Now bring your awareness to your heart hand,
Thumb to heart,
Fingers skyward.
Feel a clear cool brightness at your chest.
Clarity,
Compassion,
Love and light.
Now your belly hand palm up small ball at your dantian.
Feel a warm steady glow,
Nourishment,
Grounding,
Life.
Now with each inhale just visualize a gentle thread from belly to heart.
And with each exhale,
Let the warmth settle back into the ball of your belly.
Inhale,
Imagine this gentle thread from belly to heart.
And with each exhale,
Let the warmth settle back into the ball of your belly.
Just repeat two more times in your own time.
Just resume your natural breathing pattern now.
Rooted in earth,
I am steady.
Open to heaven,
I am clear.
In the middle way,
I am whole.
The Deo moves in me and I am at peace.
Let the mantra arise once more on your exhale.
Wu Wei.
Take two quiet breaths,
Just feeling the flow.
And resume your natural breathing pattern.
Lower your heart hand to meet your belly hand.
Both palms are resting like a single calm ball at your lower belly.
Take one nourishing inhale and a long easy exhale.
When you're ready,
Just lower your hands into your lap.
Open your eyes softly.
Roll your shoulders if that feels good.
Gently stretch and carry this beautiful stillness with you.
Namaste,
My friend.
