Welcome to gratitude,
Something that made you smile.
So there is nowhere else you need to be now.
Just in your comfy space,
Warm and cozy.
And just breathe.
Softened.
And just let the corners of your mouth turn upwards.
Just a little.
A beautiful smile.
So let's explore gratitude in something very simple.
And that is what made you smile.
So,
Think back over your day or maybe yesterday.
And find one little moment.
That brought a smile to your face.
It doesn't need to be important.
It might just be someone who said something funny.
A message that arrived at just the right moment.
You heard your favorite song.
The sun appeared.
Or perhaps you just simply caught yourself smiling for no particular reason at all.
So just let that little moment come back to you now.
See it.
Remember it.
Take a moment to notice what happens inside you as you do.
And maybe that smile wants to stay.
So let it.
No need to hold it back here.
Smile with your eyes.
Smile with your cheeks.
And just let your whole face soften into it.
What a beautiful smile.
Just feel that sense of gratitude.
Flowing into your heart.
Stay with that feeling.
Take a beautiful breath in.
As though you could breathe that happy little moment right back into yourself.
And breathe out with a thank you.
Thank you for that moment.
Thank you for the person,
The creature,
The place,
All tiny twists of life that brought that feeling of gratitude to me.
Take a deep breath in.
And slowly release.
Feel into that gratitude.
And just remember that even on ordinary days.
They can contain something lovely,
Something that you can be grateful for,
Something beautiful.
Sometimes gratitude is hiding in the smallest places,
The laughter,
Silliness,
Kindness,
Sunshine.
A familiar voice.
Or something unexpectedly sweet.
One tiny moment,
One genuine smile.
One little spark of goodness.
So just take one more breath.
And let yourself smile again.
Because this time.
.
.
You are something that made you smile.
And carry this one small gratitude with you into your day.
And maybe your smile will become someone else's reason for smiling today,
Too.
Thank you so much for joining me on this little journey into gratitude.
Namaste,
My friend.
