Welcome.
This is a gentle affirmation practice to soften the way you speak to yourself.
Affirmations aren't really about forcing any positivity or pretending everything feels okay.
But affirmations are simple,
Gentle reminders.
Reminders that new thoughts are possible.
And over time,
Those thoughts can begin to feel more natural,
More true.
So for now,
There's nothing to get right.
Just listen and allow.
So find your comfy space,
Warm and cozy.
Feel your body softened.
Shoulders loosened.
Neck soft.
Chest easing.
Back comfortable.
Arms and hands letting go.
Resting.
Your belly soft.
Hips,
Legs and feet.
Release.
And gently and softly close your eyes.
Take a slow breath in.
And a gentle breath out.
Breathing in.
And softly letting go.
Breathing in.
And as you release,
Let go of any stress or tension.
And just settle into the moment.
Just feel your natural breath flowing in.
Flowing out.
And as you listen,
You may gently repeat these words either quietly to yourself or softly out loud.
I am allowed to be kind to myself.
I am doing the best I can and that is enough.
I am learning,
Growing and becoming.
There is nothing I need to prove in this very moment.
Breathe those words deep into your heart.
I can care for myself with the same kindness I offer others.
I am worthy of gentle thoughts.
I can speak to myself with warmth and understanding.
I am beautifully unique.
There is no one else like me.
I can take a moment to check in and care for what I need.
It's okay to be soft with myself.
It's okay to be beautiful.
Let the echo of those words flow through your being.
Let the words resonate.
Just reflect for a moment.
You are so unique.
Now,
Sometimes you may have thoughts that might feel heavier.
Thoughts that doubt or criticize.
And when those thoughts appear,
Just gently remind yourself.
I don't have to believe every thought I think.
This is just a thought,
Not a truth.
I can choose a softer,
Kinder response.
I am one with myself.
Just reflect on those words and let the words settle.
No need to hold onto them.
Just allow them to land softly wherever they're needed.
Feel these words resonate in your heart.
And breathe these words deep into your heart,
Letting them soften something.
And what if,
Just for this moment,
Your voice,
Your thoughts,
They are trying to protect you.
They are trying to feel helpful.
So let's just do a few more affirmations.
Take your time.
Really let the words resonate with you.
I am learning to speak to myself with kindness.
It's safe to soften my inner voice.
I am allowed to grow at my own pace.
I choose compassion over doubt.
With each breath,
My inner voice becomes more supportive.
I am worthy of the same kindness I offer others.
I can begin again gently.
Beautiful.
Let these words resonate within you.
Just allow them,
Like drops of water,
To find their place within you.
And as you move through your day,
See if you can notice just one moment where your inner voice softens,
Even slightly.
And when it does,
Let that be enough.
So carry these gentle thoughts with you.
Not all of them,
Just one.
And remember that you can always come back and begin again softly.
So speak kindly to yourself.
Simply pause and breathe through the moment.
And as Brené Brown says,
Talk to yourself like you would to someone you love.
So today,
Let that kindness,
That self-love begin with you.
Namaste,
My friend.
