Good morning.
You've arrived in a new day.
There's no need to rush,
No need to jump into tasks or thoughts just yet.
This is your moment before the world begins.
To meet yourself with kindness.
To return gently to your body,
Your breath,
Your presence.
Maybe you've woken from deep sleep or maybe your night was restless.
Whatever your experience,
This morning belongs to you just as you are.
So,
Before the doing,
The giving,
The rushing or the noise,
Let's begin with the one thing that is always here for you,
Your breath.
It's the first breath of this beautiful morning.
It's not just air,
It's life arriving again.
So,
Take a moment,
Pause.
Let the moment wrap gently around you just as you are.
There is nothing to achieve here,
No version of you that you need to become.
You woke up,
You're breathing and that's enough.
Let's start by softening the body,
Loosening the places that may still feel held or heavy from your night.
So,
Just relax your jaw,
Unclench your hands,
Let your shoulders gently lower and now let yourself receive a full nourishing inhale.
It's as if this breath could remind every cell in your body.
I'm here,
I've made it to a new day and then a long unhurried exhale.
Like a sigh that says,
I don't need to carry it all right now.
So,
Just breathe here for a moment.
Inhale,
Exhale.
No effort,
No agenda,
Only breath and being.
This moment right here is yours.
Sacred in its simplicity.
And as you begin your day,
You may carry this quiet knowing with you.
That you are allowed to begin slowly.
That your value isn't measured by how quickly you move.
That peace can walk beside you even in a busy world.
You are already enough and you are already becoming.
So,
Take another breath now.
Feel the beauty of beginning again and let this first breath of morning be a gentle reminder that you are alive,
You are here and this is a new day.
Just come home to yourself.
Now,
Bring your awareness to your body.
Noticing without judgment the sensations that are present this morning.
Start with the crown of your head.
Soften your scalp.
Relax your forehead.
Let your eyes rest and clench your jaw.
Just let it hang loose.
Easy.
Feel your body soften.
Your neck and shoulders are beginning to melt as if they remembering how it feels to not hold so much.
Now,
Move your attention slowly down to your chest where your breath moves in and out.
Your heart chakra down to your belly,
Soft.
Feel it alive,
Rising and falling.
Let your arms hang heavy,
Hands open or resting.
Feel your hips sink into where you're sitting or lying.
And just notice your legs,
Your feet.
You are connected to the earth beneath you.
You are supported here.
So,
Just let go just a little.
Now,
Gently close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in and let it out slowly.
Visualize yourself standing or sitting in a peaceful garden.
It's a place of gentle warmth and soft light.
The air is fresh.
It's filled with the scent of blooming flowers and the quiet hum of life all around you.
And as you breathe in,
Notice a fluttering movement nearby.
It's a tiny,
Radiant hummingbird.
It hovers gracefully just before your heart center and its wings are beating so fast they are almost invisible,
But it's creating a soft,
Shimmering light around it.
So,
Just watch this hummingbird with your gentle curiosity.
It is delicate,
Joyful,
And free.
This little creature invites you to slow down and notice the sweetness all around you.
It reminds you to sip deeply from the nectar of life,
To savor moments of beauty,
Connection,
Joy,
Gratitude,
And just feel the hummingbird's lightness touch your beautiful heart.
And with each gentle flutter,
This hummingbird whispers to you,
So,
Take a deep breath here and imagine this nectar flowing into your heart.
It's a golden,
Glowing energy that fills you with warmth and calm.
Allow yourself to bask in this gentle energy.
You are feeling light,
Refreshed,
And quietly energized.
Stay here for a moment,
Just breathing softly in rhythm with the hummingbird's wings.
Now,
With gratitude,
Watch as the hummingbird slowly flies away.
It's leaving you feeling nourished and awake.
So,
Bring your attention back to your breath,
Ready to carry this sweetness into your day.
Now,
Gently say this to yourself out loud or silently.
This breath is my beginning.
I welcome this new day with softness and strength.
Let the words land not just in your mind,
But in your body.
And now,
You may notice that the day is beginning to arrive.
The light is shifting.
A quiet hum of life is awakening around you.
So,
Just let yourself breathe into this moment.
Not to prepare for doing,
But simply to receive what the morning offers.
Breathing in,
You awaken to the beauty of being here.
Breathing out,
You soften into presence,
Into peace.
So,
Whatever comes today,
However your path unfolds,
Remember that you can always return to this first breath,
To this softness,
To yourself.
You don't have to carry the whole day at once,
Just this moment.
So,
Let your breath lead the way today.
You are allowed to begin slowly,
Gently,
With grace.
And the day begins with you.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and bring some light movement into your body.
Gently roll your shoulders if that feels good,
And take this feeling with you.
You are held.
You are whole.
You are home.
Namaste,
My friend.
