Welcome to Metta Breath for positive energy.
Make yourself comfortable,
Either sitting or laying down is just fine and delicately close your eyes.
Take a slow deep breath and let go of any tension as you feel yourself sinking into the surface you're resting on,
Becoming still more comfortable and relaxed.
Take another slow deep breath and release your thoughts,
Letting them drift far away.
Bring your awareness into your heart centre and notice a softness there.
Take a beautiful breath in and this time take the breath down to your abdomen.
Relax with a deep exhale.
Take another slow deep breath and know that in this moment all is well.
Tune into the present moment.
Follow your breathing in and out as you relax and settle in still more.
Just let your shoulders and neck area release,
Your arms,
Back,
Abdomen,
Hips,
Legs and feet relax and breathe.
Breathing is your connection to life and the natural world and like all of nature it has a rhythm.
Take a few moments to do nothing more than simply follow the rhythm of your breath and relax.
Begin to deepen your breath and draw your inhalation into your abdomen and chest and extend your exhalation to release.
Bring your awareness into your heart once more.
Just notice any sensations or feelings that arise and slowly soften your breath.
Begin to silently recite the mantra,
May I be happy,
May I be loved,
May I be well.
Notice how it feels to receive these words as you continue with soft soothing breaths.
May I be happy,
May I be loved,
May I be well.
Just continue silently reciting the words,
May I be happy,
May I be loved,
May I be well.
Now think about your loved ones and recite the mantra towards them.
May you be happy,
May you be loved,
May you be well.
Continue reciting the mantra toward others in your life.
May you be happy,
May you be loved,
May you be well.
Breathe with love,
Breathe with kindness.
I breathe in love.
I breathe in kindness.
I breathe in empathy.
I breathe in self-compassion.
I breathe in self-love.
Beautiful.
Just stay with this feeling for a few minutes to observe your experience.
Just notice how you feel.
Take a moment to visualize a warm,
Loving light shining out of your heart chakra and traveling to the people that came to your mind during this practice.
As we bring this breathwork practice to a close,
Invite a sphere of protective,
Warm,
Golden,
Loving light to be placed all around you and your heart and this experience too so that all the positive,
Kind,
Loving and heartfelt benefits will stay with you.
Take a deep breath and feel free to come out of this practice whenever you would like.
Thank yourself with gratitude for putting energy into your own explorations and thank the energy of life for moving you in the right direction towards love and kindness both for yourself and for others.
Become aware of your physical surroundings,
Remember where you are and the room that you are in.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and return to the world around you and feel awake,
Refreshed and alert.
