Welcome to this guided meditation for leading with a heart-centered power.
I invite you to find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down,
Whatever is your practice.
Allowing your spine to lengthen.
Resting your hands on your thighs or stomach or down by your sides,
Whatever is comfortable.
Perhaps having your palms face upward,
Ready to receive.
And if it feels comfortable,
Gently close your eyes or soften their gaze.
As we're arriving,
I invite you to take a slow breath in through your nose and a long,
Releasing exhale through your mouth.
Again,
Breathing in and letting it all go on the exhale.
One more time,
Breathing in,
Filling your lungs,
Feeling your belly rise.
And then sigh it out.
It's feeling the weight of your seat beneath you.
You have arrived.
Allow your breath to find its own natural rhythm.
There's nothing to force,
Nothing to control.
Simply be observing your body as you rest here.
And I invite you to bring your awareness to the crown of your head,
Noticing whatever is there,
The thinking part,
The planning,
The leading.
Breathe softly into that space,
Allowing it to soften.
And then move your awareness down into your jaw and face.
Often tension lives here,
Unspoken words,
Held decisions.
Allow your jaw to drop slightly,
Unclenched,
Release.
Now moving to your neck and shoulders.
A place where you carry what others cannot see,
Responsibility,
Expectations.
Roll your shoulders back and down,
Away from your ears.
You don't have to hold it all right now.
You can let it go.
Next,
Feeling your arms and hands grow heavy and warm.
Hands that do it,
That build,
That give.
Allow them rest.
Let them simply be hands for a moment.
Next,
I invite you to drop into your chest,
Placing one hand over your heart if you feel called to.
Feel its steady,
Faithful rhythm.
It's never asked you to be more than you are.
It has simply kept beating,
Beating for you.
Next,
Soften your belly.
This is your center of courage.
Allow it to rise and fall freely with each breath.
No holding,
No bracing,
Just openness.
And now I invite you to feel your hips,
Your seat,
Your legs,
Heavy and grounded,
Rooted to the earth beneath you.
You are supported.
You are held.
You are safe to be fully yourself.
Now I invite you to breathe in a way that will awaken your heart's natural intelligence.
Inhale for four counts,
Drawing breath up from your belly into your chest,
Feeling your heart space expand like a room filling with golden light.
Hold for four counts,
Letting that light settle,
Warm and luminous in the center of your chest.
And then exhale for six counts,
Slowly,
Completely releasing any hardness,
Any armor,
Any need to lead through force.
Let us repeat again.
Breathing in two,
Three,
Four.
Hold two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six.
Hold again two,
Three,
Four.
And then breathing in two,
Three,
Four.
And you can play with the number count.
Just try to have your exhales longer than your inhale.
Notice how your heart feels,
Perhaps a little more open,
A little more alive.
On your next inhale,
I invite you to imagine yourself standing at the base of a great ancient mountain at golden hour.
The light is warm and amber around you.
The air is still and clear.
You begin to walk,
Not rushing,
Not striving,
Simply moving with intention of a gentle path through whispering trees.
With each step,
You feel more grounded,
More certain of who you are.
And now at the summit,
You find a still,
Luminous pool of water,
And you sit beside it.
Looking into its surface,
Reflection looking back at you,
Is you,
But the version of you who leads from wholeness,
Who speaks from truth,
Who holds space with both strength and tenderness.
This version of you doesn't need to be the loudest voice in the room.
Power doesn't come from position or performance.
It radiates quietly,
Unmistakably,
From a heart that is open.
You notice a gentle river flowing from the pool down the mountain.
It doesn't force its way through the land.
It finds its way.
It moves around obstacles with grace.
It nourishes everything it touches.
This is your power.
Flowing,
Intelligent,
Life-giving.
Breathe this image in.
Allow it to become part of you.
And I invite you to place both hands over your heart.
Inhaling,
True authority flows from compassion and clarity.
I invite you to inhale and repeat again,
Silently or out loud,
True authority flows from compassion and clarity.
Breathing that out.
Again,
True authority flows from compassion and clarity.
Let it go.
And on the next inhale,
I step into influence from love not force.
Let it go on the exhale.
And now I invite you to repeat as you inhale.
I step into influence from love not force.
Let it go on the exhale.
Repeating again on the inhale.
I step into influence from love not force.
Let it go.
Inhale.
Allow these words to wash over you.
I lead with heart-centered power.
Feel those words land,
Not in your mind,
But in the center of your chest.
Allow them to take root there,
Like a seed in the warmer.
Letting those words land,
Resting in that,
And just observing how your body feels.
And on your next inhale,
Let us prepare to return back to the space,
Gently wiggling your fingers and toes,
Allowing awareness to flow into your body.
Letting your awareness to return to the room around you.
Feeling the ground beneath you,
Solid,
Real,
Supportive.
When you are ready,
If your eyes are closed,
Slowly and gently opening them.
Looking around with softness.
I invite you to carry this energy with you into every conversation,
Every decision,
Every room you walk into.
You do not need to demand respect.
You embody it.
You do not need to dominate space.
You enrich it.
This is heart-centered power and has always lived within you.
