Hello.
Welcome to this guided meditation for a moment of gratitude.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down,
Allowing your body to settle,
Observing your body,
Noticing how it feels.
I invite you to either close your eyes softly or soften the gaze,
Whatever feels most comfortable.
Just observing your breath as you settle in,
Feeling supported with the earth beneath you.
And then on your next inhale,
I invite you to take a deep breath in through your nose,
And then releasing softly out your mouth,
Allowing yourself to feel your breath as it moves in and out,
Steady,
Rounding.
Get in through your nose,
Feeling your belly and chest expand,
And then releasing out through your mouth.
Again,
Steady and grounding.
In through your nose,
Out through your mouth.
And when ready,
Bring it back to your own natural rhythm of breathing,
Observing,
Noticing how your breath feels.
And then I invite you to bring to mind something you are grateful for today.
It may be a small kindness,
The air you breathe,
The warmth of a home,
Or a loving presence in your life,
Visualizing whatever it is,
And allowing that feeling of gratitude to fill your heart with warmth,
Expanding it,
Being thankful.
And as you breathe,
Silently say to yourself,
Thank you for this moment.
Thank you for life's simple gifts.
Again,
As you breathe,
Silently saying to yourself,
Thank you for this moment.
Thank you for life's simple gifts,
Visualizing what you are thankful for.
Again,
Silently to yourself,
Saying to yourself,
Thank you for this moment.
Thank you for life's simple gifts,
Visualizing what is it that you're grateful for,
Whatever being,
Whatever thing,
No matter how big or small,
Being thankful,
Feeling the warmth in your heart,
That expansion,
Sending it out into the universe.
Know that gratitude is a quiet seed growing inside you,
Offering peace even when life is challenging,
Visualizing that,
Resting in this gentle gratitude.
The warmth of your heart,
Expanding,
Sending that out into the universe,
A reminder of the gratitude,
Quiet seed growing inside you,
Growing and spreading.
Just resting in that,
Breathing it in,
Exhaling it out.
When you are ready,
Slowly bring attention back to your body,
Noticing how you feel,
Wiggling your toes and fingers,
Perhaps gently stretching.
And if your eyes are closed,
Slowly fluttering them open.
And I invite you to carry this moment with you throughout your day.
Thank you.
