Dealing with daily anxiety can be a difficult and overwhelming experience. A guided meditation can provide tools and techniques to help individuals cope with their anxious thoughts and feelings. During the meditation, individuals can expect to be guided through breathing exercises and relaxation techniques to help calm the mind and body. The meditation may also include visualization exercises to help shift focus away from anxious thoughts and onto positive, calming images or affirmations. The goal of the meditation is to provide a safe and calming space to help individuals acknowledge and process their anxiety in a healthy and positive way.

Finding peace with it,

A guided meditation to ease anxiety with Angelica Janic.

Dealing with anxiety can be a challenging and overwhelming experience,

Causing feelings of unease,

Worry and fear.

However meditation can be a powerful tool in helping individuals cope with these feelings and find a sense of calm and relaxation through the chaos.

To begin,

Find a quiet and comfortable place in your home where you can let go of all distraction,

Turning your cell phone to silence.

Take as much time as you need to set up this space.

We will be here for 15 to 20 minutes.

When you're ready,

Taking a few deep breaths,

Inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth,

Allowing your body and mind to relax.

Letting go of your day,

Letting any passing thoughts,

To just be there like the clouds in the sky,

Ever changing,

Shape,

Colour,

Just observe what's happening,

Without attaching yourself to the thoughts and the emotions that come thereafter.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Focus your attention on your body.

Notice where you are holding your anxiety.

Maybe it changes based on what kind of anxiety you are experiencing,

Work,

Relationship.

Sitting with that anxiety and just pay attention to the tension,

The description of this discomfort.

Simply observe and breathe,

Allowing yourself to be present in the moment.

As you continue to breathe deeply and relax,

Imagine a bright and radiant light,

Representing your own inner strength and power,

Filling you with positivity and love,

Feeling a sense of gratitude for your own resilience and strength.

As you bask in the warmth and love of this light,

Reflect on your own ability to overcome challenges and adversity,

Remembering that you are capable of facing difficult situations and that you have the power to transform your life.

As you continue to breathe deeply and visualize this inner strength,

Repeat the following affirmations.

I am strong and resilient and have the power to overcome my anxiety.

I trust in my own abilities and intuition and I am confident in my decisions.

I am surrounded by love and support and I am grateful for all the people in my life.

Allow yourself to repeat these affirmations,

The ones that have stood out to you,

Feeling their positive energy resonating within you and that you have the love and support of the universe surrounding you.

As you continue to breathe deeply and visualize this positive energy,

Allow yourself to release any negative emotions or thoughts that may be holding you back.

Acknowledge any fears or concerns that you may have and allow yourself to feel them without judgment or resistance.

As you breathe,

Imagine yourself releasing these negative emotions and thoughts and allow them to flow out of your body and mind like a river.

Feeling a sense of peace and clarity wash over you and as you let go of the past and embrace the present moment,

Feel a weight lift off your shoulders.

As you continue to breathe deeply and visualize this sense of peace,

Focus your attention on your breath,

Noticing the rise and fall of your chest as you inhale and exhale,

And allow yourself to be present in the moment.

As you breathe,

Repeat the following mantra,

I am calm,

I am peaceful,

I am relaxed.

I am calm,

I am peaceful,

I am relaxed.

I am calm,

I am peaceful,

I am relaxed.

Allow yourself to repeat this with each inhale and exhale,

Feeling its calming energy resonate within you,

Feeling the shape of your body in space,

The relaxation throughout the skin,

And a feeling of groundedness.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Imagine a gentle and soothing breeze blowing around you,

Carrying away any remaining anxiety or tension.

Feel a sense of calm and relaxation wash over you as you allow yourself to fully let go and surrender to the present moment.

Remember that dealing with anxiety can be a difficult and overwhelming experience.

However,

With regular practice,

You can find a sense of calm and relaxation.

Trust in your own abilities and intuition,

And know that you are capable of overcoming any challenge that comes your way.

I am strong and resilient,

And I have the power to overcome my anxiety.

I trust in my own abilities and intuition,

And I am confident in my decisions.

I am grateful for the people in my life,

Taking as much time as you need.

There is no rush.

Only when you are ready,

You can either start by moving the fingers and toes,

Or slowly open your eyes.

Take a moment to reflect on your meditation.

Have you enjoyed this meditation?

Be sure to come back and share it with your loved ones.
