Hello and welcome to this affirmation practice.
For this practice we will be using affirmations to help free our voice.
Sometimes we may fall into patterns of not using our voice and speaking up as much as we may like.
I know I sometimes have a habit of overthinking what I could or should say in certain situations and then before you know it the conversation has moved and the opportunity to speak has passed.
So hopefully this practice will help in releasing some of this premeditative tension.
It's also helpful to acknowledge that once you have made your voice heard it's often well received and even if it isn't the outcome is often better than not saying anything.
So to begin the practice if you're not already I'd like to invite you to get comfortable into your meditation position.
Take a moment to check in with yourself.
Feel free to close your eyes.
Notice how you're feeling right now in this moment and just sit with this for the next few moments.
Block.
" And now I'd like to invite you to take three deep mindful breaths.
Just releasing any tension on the exhales.
So breathing in.
And letting go.
And breathing in.
And releasing.
And last time,
Breathing in.
And letting go.
And now we'll begin with affirmations.
