What if the belief of a “me” is not actually at the centre of experiencing? We often assume that everything is happening to someone - “me” is thinking, “me” is feeling, “me” is experiencing life. But can the “me” that seems to be at the centre of experience actually be found apart from the thoughts, sensations, feelings and perceptions that are being experienced? This meditation is an invitation to look directly. Not to get rid of yourself, but to notice what happens when the assumption of a separate “me” is no longer placed at the centre of experiencing. And for a moment, simply experience what is here… without placing anyone at the centre of it. Just sound… sensation… breath… thought… feeling… all appearing… all being experienced… without needing to belong to anyone. Balancing for nervous system imbalances.
