Hello again and welcome.
This meditation is called Does Life Have A Higher Purpose?
Have you ever wondered whether life has a higher purpose?
Have you asked yourself,
Why am I here?
What am I meant to be doing?
Is there something I am supposed to discover?
To achieve or to fulfil.
The mind naturally looks for purpose,
Meaning or direction.
It wants to know where life is going and what it is all for.
But what if the question itself is coming from a limiting belief?
That life needs to have a more fulfilling purpose beyond what is currently present.
What if life doesn't need to become something else or somehow more fulfilling?
In order for it to be whole and complete.
There is a deeper way of meeting this inquiry,
Not by finding an answer,
But by noticing what is already unfolding.
Life is here.
Breathing is happening.
Seeing is happening.
Experiences are happening.
Thoughts are rising,
Sensations are rising,
Emotions are felt.
And all of this is known within one's inseparable awareness.
Perhaps the higher purpose we are searching for is not something waiting somewhere in an imagined future.
Can it be found in the simple recognition of what life already is,
The one continuous unfoldment of being?
There may still be intentions,
Dreams,
Creative expressions.
Things we feel called to do or are inspired by.
But perhaps these don't need to be the reason life has purpose or meaning.
They can simply be the natural expression,
Fullness and aliveness of now.
Of being fully aware and present within each inspired moment.
So perhaps now the question is not,
What is the higher purpose of life?
But more pointedly,
What is life revealing itself as right now?
With this awareness we don't need to know where it is all leading.
Life will reveal itself as the next expression unfolds.
And when it does,
It will simply be seamless now.
Nothing to figure out,
Nothing to fulfil or add,
In order for it to be whole.
Just this,
Life as it is,
Unfolding naturally.
And here there is something deeply peaceful and joyful.
In discovering that being does not need a purpose to be fully alive.
For that is what it timelessly is,
Alive.
The aliveness of life is already here.
And you are not separate or at a distance from it.
You are the unfolding,
The awareness,
The wholeness of this moment.
This life.
Living itself.
Is there a higher purpose to find?
Or is there simply a deeper recognition of the completeness of what is seamlessly present?
