In times of challenge and struggle, how do you get through? We aim to reach the parts of you that feel overworked, stressed, or abandoned. With a steadiness, we practice grace. To see you through the times when you want to give up.

To endure doesn't always have to mean to put up with,

Instead it can perhaps be a way to stabilise in challenging periods.

Say here you are,

Showing up in times of turbulence,

In times of challenge,

And it may feel like your boat is being relentlessly rocked.

And sometimes it can feel like a never-ending serving of one thing after another,

Continuously.

And you're here to find a slither of light in the dark tunnel.

Give your mind a break.

Let the whirling settle.

Settle into a breath now,

As you let it meet you with ease.

Let it meet you with ease.

Maybe it needs to be soft.

Maybe it needs to be deep.

And we're focusing on the exhale,

Befriending it.

Often in times of struggle and turbulence we're looking for a way out,

We're looking for that release,

That moment where we do not bear the weight,

Even for a split second.

And this is what breath can offer you,

Like we don't have to carry the load,

Like we don't have to carry the load alone.

All the stored up stress,

Worry,

Anxiety just needs an outlet.

But see now if you can draw your spine slightly taller so that your breath has further to reach up through your body.

As though it's reaching the parts of you that may feel tired,

Unloved,

Abandoned.

The parts that are full of stress and full of overwhelm.

A steady endurance can offer you hope in times of turbulence when the road ahead seems unclear and you can't quite see which way to go.

A steady eye and a steady breath.

Practicing grace,

Giving yourself the time and the chance to decompress in these moments where perhaps it helps to feel like maybe time stands still just for these moments where you can be held in a container and in a comforting,

Reassured space to hold you in the growing your capacity to hold your own space for yourself in these times.

Let's take some breath again now and we'll take some time to soften the eyes and just to be in the stillness.

Taking pause,

Taking a breath,

Checking back in with your heart,

Your body,

Your breath.

What has this decompression really given you?

Perhaps soft reminders to you that the turbulence will ease and to breathe with it and to be with it and come back to these words whenever you need.
