Please continue settling in.
Allow the eyes to close and the body to find whatever position feels comfortable and supportive.
This is your time.
Your space.
Allow yourself to let go of any ideas of how this needs to go.
What it needs to look like.
The posture your body needs to be in.
And allow yourself a few moments.
To really tune in and respond.
To exactly what your body needs.
Not what we think it needs or what it should need,
What's actually present in the here and now.
Begin to notice what sounds are present in your environment.
Feel the places of contact between your body and the surface that you're resting on.
Feel the body breathing.
From a place of internal awareness.
Branching out from the sensations of the body breathing.
Begin to scan through your body looking for any sensations that are calling to you.
This could be tension.
Tightness,
Spaciousness.
Warmth,
Coolness,
It can be anything.
And as you find an area of your body that feels a little curious,
Trust you're in the right spot.
Begin to tune in a little bit deeper.
What does the sensation feel like?
If you had to describe it,
How would you describe it?
What's the texture?
Is there any movement?
What about the borders?
Is there a center?
Is there an edge?
If so,
What do those places feel like?
Without engaging the thinking mind too deeply.
Become open to the equation.
Is there an emotion?
That is present within this sensation.
There's no right or wrong.
If no emotion is coming,
Please stick with the feeling sensation.
If an emotion is present.
Continue exploring,
Is there a belief that is attached to this emotion?
So we're exploring either physical sensation,
Emotion.
Or believe.
And we're gently and curiously noticing.
Where these things may be present in the physical body.
And what that feels like.
Take a moment to allow space for this emotion,
Sensation,
Or belief.
To let you know if there's anything it needs.
Does it need some reassurance?
Does it need to be heard?
Does it need you to take an action like a stretch or a movement?
Trust what comes.
And if nothing is coming,
That's okay.
Continue feeling into the physical,
Emotional landscape that's present.
Cultivate a sense of gratitude for whatever you have found.
That includes tension.
That includes distraction.
That includes insight.
All of it.
Everything's welcome here.
Return the awareness back to the breath.
Gently deepen the breath.
Bring awareness to the nose.
Feeling into the subtle sensation of air moving in and out of the nostrils.
Letting awareness expand out to any places on your body where your skin is exposed to the air.
Maybe your face or hands.
Tuning in to that ever-so-subtle sensation,
Air meeting skin.
As we move towards closing out this practice.
Please notice if there's anything else you need.
Anything your body or spirit is asking for.
Thank yourself for taking this pause,
This moment to check in.
And remember,
This work is always available.
These access points into the body.
Allow you to slow down.
Allow you to take the seat of the observer where you can respond.
Rather than react to all of the stimulus that's continually coming our way.
Our minds are beautiful and powerful,
But our bodies are wise.
There is deep wisdom when we slow down enough to listen.
Thank you for sharing your time with me.
Take good care.
