You have a choice right now. How are you going to show up to the world? In this 20-minute guided meditation, I guide you to a place where your infinite possibilities become apparent to you. You have a choice in how you want to show up in each moment. You can choose to let negative energy overwhelm and constrict you, or you can choose to show up as the best version of yourself. You have that choice! In every single moment, there are infinite possibilities.

Hello,

This is David G and welcome to today's meditation.

Let's find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.

And let's settle in.

Together let's take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in.

And gently let that go.

And now,

Let's allow our eyelids to float closed.

Take another long,

Slow,

Deep breath in.

And gently release that.

And now ever so gently follow your breath in and out,

Witnessing as you inhale and observing as you exhale.

Ayurveda is considered one of the oldest healing systems on the planet.

Based on two Sanskrit words,

Ayus,

Which means life,

And Veda,

Which means science or knowledge or wisdom,

Ayurveda is the science of life.

And it's based on the principle that health is not the absence of disease.

Health is physical and emotional balance and integration.

Ayurveda is based on the fact that there are five master elements.

In Sanskrit,

Five is pancha,

Master is maha,

And elements is bhuta.

So the five master elements are the pancha maha-butas.

The first of these elements is space,

Known in Sanskrit as akasha.

Outside of our body it's represented by the vastness of the universe,

The infiniteness of the night sky,

All the empty spaces that exist,

The openings,

The voids,

The doorways,

The hollow parts of the cosmos.

Within our body,

Akasha is represented by the open spaces within.

All the empty aspects of our physiology,

Empty blood vessels,

Our stomach,

Anything open,

Anything that can be filled.

And according to Ayurveda,

We are in this constant dynamic exchange,

Receiving space into our mind and body and flowing it back out.

The characteristic associated with space is potential,

Infinite possibilities,

Limitless beliefs.

So let's connect to the space that's within us to help move us from where we are to where we'd like to be.

As you take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in,

Watch the breath move into the empty spaces and then fill them.

Feel that breath move into all the empty spaces,

And as you exhale,

Watch them empty.

Watch additional spaces as they're created.

As we move throughout the day,

We have the opportunity to bring space,

Just a little bit more space,

Into each thought before it triggers something,

Into each breath to help make it deeper,

Into each word to allow them to be a bit more impeccable,

And to each action so that they are more purposeful.

Let's connect with space by traveling through it.

Take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in and feel yourself lift off just a bit.

Feel your physical body unbounded by the chair,

Floor,

Or couch upon which you sit.

With each breath,

Feel yourself get just a bit more lighter,

A bit more merging with the space around you.

As you witness your breath flow in and out,

Allow the concept of gravity to just slip away.

And now become aware of where your physical body ends and space begins,

And start to feel them merge together so that there is no differentiation.

You're becoming one with the ether,

With the breeze.

And as you take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in,

Feel it fill your heart and feel that space become soft,

Tender,

Vulnerable,

Open.

Keep breathing and keep rising up,

Separating yourself from the ground,

From your chair,

From the floor.

And now ask yourself,

Where could I bring a little more space into my life?

Where could I use a little more time before I respond to someone?

Where could I be a little more patient before I react to a situation?

And with each breath in,

Allow space,

A kasha,

To flow into you and merge with every cell.

Now ask yourself,

Where am I constricted?

Where do I feel I have limits?

In my behaviors,

My choices,

My desires.

Once you've identified that aspect of your being,

Breathe into it,

Long,

Slow,

Deep breath into that concept.

Feel infinite possibilities flow into your vision.

As you hover above the room,

Shattering all expectations of what you're truly capable of.

Breathe in and float a little bit higher.

Feel a sense of oneness with your surroundings,

Not separate from them.

A unified part of everything around you.

Take a deep breath in and start to raise yourself up just a little bit more with this breath.

As you let it go,

Allow yourself to soar,

To move through the air,

To move through space,

To move through the sky.

Unbounded,

Limitless,

Untethered,

And free.

Let's take it a little deeper by using a mantra.

We'll silently repeat the mantra,

Akasha Ritam.

You are in rhythm with divine space.

And as you repeat the mantra,

Akasha Ritam,

You'll drift away to thoughts or sounds or physical sensations.

That's perfectly okay.

As soon as you realize you're no longer repeating Akasha Ritam,

Ever so gently drift back to the mantra.

And this meditation will be a gentle drifting back and forth.

If you notice you're focused on a mood or a feeling or have some expectation,

Ever so gently drift back to the mantra,

Treating any expectation as just another thought.

Watch the time.

And when you hear me ring the chime,

Just sit gently with your eyes closed.

Let's begin.

You You You You You You You You You You You You You You Aakasha,

Ritam,

Aakasha,

Ritam,

Ritam,

Ritam.

Aakasha,

Ritam,

Aakasha,

Ritam.

Sit gently with your eyes closed and let the stillness,

The silence,

The infinite possibilities settle in.

And now together,

Let's take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in.

And gently let that go.

Let's do that one more time,

Long,

Slow,

Deep breath in.

And gently release.

And let's seal our infinite potential by chanting Aom,

The hymn of the universe.

Just one time together,

Take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in.

Aom.

And when it feels comfortable,

You can slowly open your eyes.

You can look around at those who you shared this collective consciousness with.

Place your hands together,

Bring them to your heart.

Bow your head.

And receive the love of the universe.

Namaste.

I honor the divine light in you that's also in me.

And when you're in that infinite space and I'm in that infinite space,

We are one.

So throughout the day,

When you find yourself in less than mode,

Not giving yourself enough credit,

Creating an excuse,

Reach inside and awaken your Akasha,

Ritam.

You're fully aligned with the element of infinity.

Namaste.

This is David G.

From the sweet spot of the universe,

And I'll see you in the gap.

Too long without your teaching, trying different teachers and different techniques. But brought back to your voice tonight. I learned recently that a friend is battling cancer. Wishing him wellness and healing in between Akasha Ritam and the breaths.
